without the gods i feel empty.

without the gods i feel helpless.

i feel weak. torn. broken. hallow.

and most definitely not myself.

i never realized how much i depended on their love, blessings and protection until i was forced to pull away from them for a couple weeks due to family reasons.

however, alone was the one thing i never felt. they were still watching over me even when i wasn't able to pray or give them offerings everyday, i still thought of them like they never left.

Lady Aphrodite loved me.

Father Zeus protected me.

Lady Athena kept me sane.

Lord Hypnos allowed me rest.

Lady Hestia kept my home safe.

Lord Hermes watched over me.

i fell sick and my leg became infected leading me to not be able to walk but, there's a reason i've been healing so quickly—Lord Apollo is looking out for me.

the gods are always watching over you no matter what. it doesn't matter if you didn't pray or if you couldn't offer; as long as they are in your hearts, they will hold you tightly in their holy arms and love you. i promise.

i don't know how to thank my deities but i hope they know how much i am indebted to them.

praise the Almighty Gods!

crocheting as a loving offering for Lord Apollon

THE WAY I WAS FREAKING OUT, OH MY GODS. (this may be a little off-putting or disgusting to some ppl so beware).

last night i was super sick and nauseous and the irritable feeling didn't allow me to get any sleep. it was quite literally past 3AM. i was genuinely so upset that i couldn't get any rest as i was so tired as well.

i prayed to Lord Apollon, begging to rid me of this nausea and promising to play my ukulele and kalimba for him the next day.

CROSS MY HEART BECAUSE I KID YOU NOT. the prayer hadn't even come to an end and the feeling of wanting to throw up just goes back down my throat. i was in awe and i thanked him profusely. i slept great.

i could not be more grateful to my lord.

praise the Bright Lord Apollon (I LOVE YOUU).

uttering a prayer to the gods, whether big or small, in the morning to start the day and in the night before drifting off helps me clear my mind so much that it still amazes me even now.

it's like they pat my head to encourage me at the start of my day and kiss my forehead to rid me of my worries so that i get rest at the end of it.

i love my deities so much.

standing out in the sun and basking in the glow of Lord Apollon because of course he wants to watch over you and heal you of any possible ailments

we're out of town at the moment, sort of where not many people reside and the reason being my mum and i were busy with some errands. and due to some issue, i was angry, frustrated, upset and on the brink of tears. i felt like my teeth would fall out with all the grinding. and lo and behold, the moment i step out, what do i see?

4 cows standing in a hurdle to greet me.

i pet one of them and thanked my deity while walking past. my heavy heart immediately lightened and i felt like i wasn't dealing with my troubles all alone.

i prayed to Queen Hera the day before, and the moment i needed guidance, she lets me know that she's there for me.

i don't feel angry anymore, i feel like i can deal with this with a calm mind rather than a blurred one. i honestly couldn't be more grateful towards my lady.

praise the Holy Queen of the Gods.

those tiny harmless lies to narrowly escape getting into trouble with your parents or anyone else and then apologizing to the gods for being a bit untruthful but knowing that sometimes, Lord Hermes secretly condones it and is proud of how cheeky you are... yeah <3

when the media and the way people interpret the gods is so twisted sometimes like, please stop... what's with the blatant disrespect? i get that there's ancient mythology and such but, i doubt people would keep their hair on if other religions and their gods were spoken of this way.

but maybe that's just me, i'm not sure.

staying up till 1AM in the morning with your friend watching disturbing horror movies that you can no longer find without pirating might just be something that humors Lord Hermes

i was up wide awake at 1:30AM, with a throbbing headache and a final the very next morning at 9 along with the need to be up at 6--a small prayer to Lord Hypnos and quite literally in the middle of it, my eyes start to get lethargic. and i'm asleep in a minute.

i'm not even sure i properly finished the prayer but, i'm so grateful to be able to get sleep and write my exam afterwards.

praise the Kindly Lord Hypnos.

once again, i am in debt to you. thank you, my lord, truly.
