Validate me!!!!! I did a thing and wanted to send my coach a message, begging for validation. You see, I decided to put something first and after weeks of moaning and bitching about it, I was finally doing it! And there was nobody to see it! Nobody to see me turning a new leaf. Nobody to witness me sticking to non existent resolutions  Nobody knew I was doing the thing i had said I wanted to do, but hasn't declared to the world because I wasn't doing it for approval So why did I feel this INTENSE NEED to have her validate me? I mean, she might have. Or she might have told me it was about bloody time. Under no circumstance was I gonna get the Molly coddling I was yearning for.  No "good job, little buddy" for me. Because I've got that. I've half assed a bunch of shit for approval. Known in the best in the room and that my half assery was still a whole butt better than what anyone else could have produced.  King of the little pond. I feel a desperate need for approval because I do not know yet how to approve of myself It was one of the first affirmations Louise Hay taught me. I love and approve of myself.  Easier said than done.  So instead of hiding and whoreishly seeking secret gratification, then feel ashamed about it, I'm gonna talk it out.
