I need the writing prompt since I've unfortunately had no motivation to write my own project, so one second.

I think Valentino would hit harder if he was actually charming.

I think they should have built up Val as this charming, sauve, silly goofy guy, then to punch you in the gut with the realization that he's awful.

I think ATM Val's writing is very all over the place, his silly moments and his genuinely horrible moments clash instead of combine.

He could have really been something, you know? A charming goofy guy to lure in people, before revealing his awful toxicity and lack of boundaries and all of that once it was far too late to leave, when you're too willing to make excuses for him because you swear you know him and he's not usually this bad.

I just feel like that's so much more interesting then his weird obvious back and forth shit in the show.

Then again that's one of main issues with the show and it's world as it stands. They really have to shove in your face how much someone sucks right off the bat, which just, ruins so much of what they could have been doing instead. You know, actually building up to stuff.

Oh, I definitely agree. I mentioned it in my own post regarding Valentino but I would love it if Valentino was a charming fellow then slowly overtime goes mask off. In canon, the dude just comes off as a man child who is pissed that things can’t go his way 🤣.

The annoying part about Valentino is that he’s not even charming in universe, I don’t get how he was able to successfully manipulate his victims. This is man the same man who licked Charlie without her consent even she and Angel Dust were weirded out by it.

In episode 6, Valentino wasn’t even trying to make his offer sound enticing so the women can join his porn studio. Bro literally said this:

Frame from something I’m doing that’s a little bit silly, but this is what my Nightmare design looks like. As you can see, my take on Nightmare is very camp, he is the drama, and you know he sounds like Scar from the Lion King. He is the gay-coded Disney villain with a song more fire than the main character’s and employs the most clueless lackeys that have a cartoonish Boston accent.

I need to finish this, it’s insanely stupid and funny. I’m projecting my favorite type of villain on Nightmare.

Not for any complicated reason or criticism, I just can't stand Lilo or Stitch as characters and it felt like the movie was trying way too hard to make me find them endearing. The whole movie was annoying to me.
