I have relatively sensitive skin and i'm prone to breakouts. Over the past few years I have used expensive brands and inexpensive brands, and have found the inexpensive brands are actually nice to my skin.

I know for a lot of people Monday is a dreaded day of the week and not everyone’s favourite.

Recently I’ve been reading “Evergreen”~Lydia Millen and have been finding the beauty in every day of the week.

It’s so crazy how a book can change the way you feel and think about different days of the week.

I know a lot of people dread Sunday and I never really understood why until I was in a bad mental health space with work.

It’s become quite sad that, we now have to “live to work ” instead of it “work to live”.

I’m really hoping our Economy can come together and fix what the problem is before it’s too late.

Does anyone else feel like Designer clothes are starting to have a “fast fashion” feel about them?

I remember when it was such a luxury to own a Designer item and how they never went out of style.

Now days, I fell like big brands are starting to become more of a “trend” than luxury.

There are some brands that do keep their “luxury” title, however there are many that are becoming more of a “fast fashion and trend” which is quite sad.

After having my baby a couple months ago it has been a rough journey already in finding myself again.

Not just mentally and emotionally, but learning to love my new body and finding my style again has been a journey I never really thought I would have to go on.

However, I think I’m slowly starting to find different pieces that I think are becoming more of my style.

Even though I’m a young Mum (24, I don’t think it’s that young, but I’ve been told it is) I’ve been really enjoying the “Mum” look, but of course I’ll team whatever the piece I buy with something I already own so it becomes more of a younger version of what it was on the Model.

Recently I have found my passion for cooking and baking again. I find this comes and goes in waves and I was so motivated before I had my daughter and then when she was born I began struggling to find enthusiasm to cook and bake.

However, I’ve been watching people on YouTube garden and indulge themselves into the kitchen and it’s inspiring me to want to do the same.

These are a couple of recipes I’m going to try over the next couple of days.

Who else loves vintage/ rustic home designs?!

I used to love the all white look with no character or colours. However after my style started to change, so did my interior style.

I now love antique pieces that really make a statement and houses that have character and feel homey.

Here are some of my Style Icons and where I get my inspiration for my clothing from.

I have realised that I enjoy not only Princess Diana's style but also Princess Kate.

Both of these women know how to look classy in everything they wear.

Lydia Millen is also an Icon for me when it comes to classy yet comfortable clothing.

When it comes to clothing I have come to notice that it's not what you buy, but where you buy it. Although Fast Fashion is cheap, it doesn't last as long and doesn't keep the value. That is why you'll find yourself continuing to buy more pieces and spend more money on Fast Fashion clothing items.

Pinterest is one of my favourite ways to show off my style with clothing.

After going through different transitions in life, I have begun my journey in finding pieces that I know I can easily transition during the seasons.

I have only now understood the saying "Quality over Quantity".

I definitely have Lydia Millen to thank for that. She has really shown me how to bring out my style, whilst learning how to dress myself properly.

Christmas 🎄

I know it’s early , but Christmas has always been my favourite holiday. This year I want to do more of a rustic/ Grandmas house type of decorating and I’m so excited.

I have begun with small decorations around my room and I can’t wait to continue searching for the best decorative pieces.

I used to love reading when I was younger and over my late teenage years/ early adult years I lost interest due to working and not feeling connected to any books.

Recently however, I found a YouTuber by the name Lydia Millen and she has helped restore my love for reading and wanting to better myself in every way possible.

She has recently released a book “Evergreen” and it is a breath of fresh air, she is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend this if you’re looking at different type of Self guidance.

This is my first post in a few years and in those years I have definitely changed and grown as a person.

I want this blog to be somewhere that people can relate and connect with other people in different types of ways. Wether that’s Emotional or Spirituality, everyone is on their own journey and everyone deserves to not feel alone in this world or lost within their thoughts or feelings.
