Just want to clarify for anyone who got confused by my post here that this was entirely just jokes. Being asexual is the lack of sexual attraction at a base idea, I know my post seems like I'm saying that untrue but honestly I'm not. Sorry to anyone I confused 😭

How to tell someone you're asexual:

"I'm asexual" ❌️

This is boring and not everyone will get what you mean

My blood line shall end at me" 👍

This makes you seem super cool and makes your point well

"The blood of my ancestors will cease when I eternally rest for I have no intention to breed" ✅️

Makes you seem Shakespeare-esque and articulates your point well 🧐

i need people to know that labels aren't mandatory.

Use all the microlabels you want. Go wild.

But at the same time, if you don't feel like going down that rabbit hole, just using the umbrella-term of whatever the hell you identify with is perfectly fine too. Some people don't want to be any more specific and that's totally valid :)

Honestly I love the term 'aspec' because it's much less of a mouthful than 'aros and aces' and more inclusive than aroace. You can just say aspec when talking about the community as a whole. Includes the whole spectrum. Good stuff
