you don’t need words. you don’t need to sit in front of a mirror and say “i am rich, i am powerful, i am devastatingly beautiful” fifty times like a malfunctioning wind-up doll. reality does not care for your diction. you are not a salesman, and the universe is not some reluctant buyer waiting to be convinced.

the mistake is thinking you need to tell it what you want. the bigger mistake is thinking you need to tell yourself. affirmations are training wheels. good for beginners, good for those who still need to hear it. but the minute you’re relying on them, you’re admitting that some part of you doesn’t believe it’s already true.

Warm tears fell down your face you couldn't stop then from comming down. Your body fell down the back of the door. Why didn't they accept you, you thought it's not like you killed someone so why wouldn't you. You couldn't stop thinking about the entire argument and how you just had the perfect day with them in my for it too end in shambles. Your parents were never ones to really care about what you were in life but that never stopped you from tying to form a relationship with them and yes it had gotten better, but now it was horrible. You eyes hurt from the Puffiness of crying and tears still cane down your face. You thought about making yourself feel better so you got up from the floor, and went over to the bathroom getting ready to shower and make yourself some food and enjoy your alone time...

It didn't work you ended up burning your food literally you forgot your can't cook that well, and there was no hot water so you couldn't even shower. You felt like shit and like the day had gotten worse you continued to cry but than you heard the door open. Your boyfriend had just came home and you looked like a mess you hated it and you couldn't bring yourself to stop crying you just curled up into s ball and cried even more.

Xiao walked to your the kitchen and out down the food he has bought for the both of you, he heard little sobs and made his way to your shared bedroom. He saw you crying and felt horrible, "Are you okay?" you whispered in a low voice. You looked up at him and tried to respond but you couldn't and cried even more. He walked over to you and started to hug you and after told you to just keep breathing after a few minutes like this you calmed down and you both sat in silence. "Do you wanna tell me what happened?" he finally broke the silence in a concerned voice. You shook your head yes but your throat hurt from crying so much and your mouth was dry. He understood and took you too the kitchen and made you both made some food together it cheered you up a little bit and finally you both sat down. You finally ate and you felt so happy. But that didn't last very long when it hit you that your gonna have to tell your boyfriend your gender neutral what if he didn't accept you? Or called you names? Or said that theirs only one gender? OR...

You didn't expect to be attacked by treasure hoarders so randomly at night but still they left horrible marks and going to the Cathedral didn't fix your headache. You sat down on the bed you thought about what had just happened to you and you hated how you didn't defend yourself. It's not like you couldn't it's just you we're scared and you can't fight when your scared you we're so lost in thought that you started picking your scab in deep thought and it so happened that Kaeya had just came home too. "Y/n?" he called out you turned around very fast and yelled "I'm in here Kaeya!" you felt something trickle down your side and looked seeing a little red stain oh your hand you reopened your scab. Just as Kaeya entered too "Oh wow your bleeding I thought you already went to the Cathedral?" He places his stuff down and started inspecting you he ended up grabbing the media in the bathroom and fixing it up for you, and after you told him that you had just reopened it by accident he gave you an annoyed stare. "You know buying medical care is expensive and please try to stop picking or reopening your wounds.." You gave him a sorry look he knows you don't do it on purpose it just happens. You both ended up cuddling with each other for the rest of the day and falling asleep in each others arms.

"To many people...." you thought it was so crowded in this big place that you couldn't find ayato it made you feel even more nervous knowing that you couldn't make your way around the place without him by your side. Of course you had to come to this party it was very important but you didn't feel comfortable your feet hurt from all the walking you did earlier helping thoma set up you didn't think about the after effects and you could even talk to people with out losing your train of thought not could you pay attention.

You felt horrible like you couldn't hold up a good social status working your way throw the crowd you finally landed your eyes on a certain blue haired male only to find him surrounded by people too. It made you feel a little sad that he forgot about you in the mist of all these people but whose to blame he has a reputation to uphold so you couldn't blame him... But you still felt mad. You pushed your way threw the crowd not caring about the remarks people said as you did and giving you rude looks. When you finally made your way to Ayato he gave you a confused look only too see the discomfort in your face as soon as you made eye contact with him you grabbed you by your hand an put his drink down clearing his throat and said "Thank you everyone for this lovely evening but it's late and I don't want to take up anymore of your time." the crowd started to disperse and agreements soon everyone left. It was just you and ayato. He grabbed your hand tightly and took you to your bedroom holding you and saying how sorry he was because he got carried away talking to other this made you smile "You know ayato it's really cute that you always get so cuddly when your sad." you laughed a little his face Contouring into a shade of red and digging his head into your neck.
