Quote
As a disabled person, I don’t like that my life is viewed as a constant reminder to non-disabled people that it could always be worse, and I don’t like that I’m considered inspirational simply for living the life I’ve been given. Disabled people don’t exist to inspire non-disabled people or to remind them that there are no excuses in life, or that life could always be worse. We do not exist to be feel-good story on the 5 o’clock news when we go to football games, get asked to prom, or graduate high school. Those are just normal teenage things and it shouldn’t be any more inspiring because you do them sitting in a wheelchair or with some other disability.

life is so weird and I take so much for granted sometimes like I always felt like I would be consistent in my disability (which was naive and I knew it wasn’t the truth but I was YOUNG) but so many things I didn’t anticipate happening or realized would happen are happening and it’s just weird

I tried my best to create a more authentic version of Kylie Jenner’s Interview cover, given that I’m, you know, actually disabled and a real life wheelchair user. I can barely get people to make eye contact with me, let alone land a cover shoot. If being in a wheelchair is trendy now, I’ve apparently been a trendsetter since before Kylie was born.

I'm talking to a boy I met online and he doesn't know about my disability and I'm afraid to tell him incase he doesn't wanna talk anymore or I'm afraid we would stop talking anyway and my brain will automatically assume it's because of that and scar me for life

I’m so mad I’ve been waiting for appropriate seating forever and in the meantime I can’t go to two of my classes and I feel so guilty and like my professors won’t understand (I emailed them). The seating in there I could just never get up from but at the same time I’m like well maybe I should at least but I don’t wanna make a fool out of myself idk what to do :-(

It’s only been oh week and two days since I was announced being signed with IMG Worldwide modeling agency. I honestly still have to pinch myself every morning when I realize that it really happened. It’s such a great feeling knowing that there’s so many people out there supporting you and who wants to see change happen! So know I owe this access to you all! Thank you for all the love and support, I wish you can hug each and everyone of you.
Here’s the links to all the articles that have written in the last few days… Holy cupcakes! :D

has anyone with a physical disability been to disney (or maybe another amusement park)?? If so, were you able to go on any rides and have just as much fun?
I don’t want to go with my friend and hold her back from going on a bunch of rides. i’m going to definitely be renting a scooter which will be a help.

Question
What is the biggest struggle you face when it comes to getting dressed? Or the way clothing fits in general? I know in some ways clothes and getting dress is impossible but what, if anything, would help this issue?
