r we ever gonna talk about how people of color have literally become a trope or category for consumption??? “this book features: found family, enemies to lovers, people of color” or “don’t interact if you don’t post people of color” or equating us to any other inanimate thing you can use for brownie points to showcase diversity?? we aren’t museum exhibits!! you don’t need to show off every time you acknowledge non-white people exist!! it does nothing more than further establish white as the norm and non-white as the “other”
