ok so in this version of the story my selfinsert basically takes Bilbo's role (sorry bilbo) and is the burglar for the dwarves!

Basic info abt him 🍂

he's a young hobbit named Reuven (Ruby) Button

he wears shoes because he doesn't like the feeling of walking around barefoot (sensory issues+autistic)

he lived alone in the shire as his father left for an adventure many years ago and never came back

he a bit childish and inexperienced to most things after having to take care of himself, he truly believed his dad would come back as promised but after being convinced by gandalf to join the company he realised the truth

he doesn't own a coat nor a cloak so he wears an old dress over his clothes instead and to keep warm

he has a moose stuffie named Moose 🫎 they're his favourite animal

he age regresses to a toddler age, but after the battle of the five armies he regresses to an infant/baby due to trauma

the company is a big found family but he ended up really clinging to Bofur, Bifur, and Bombur!

Bofur is his favourite (don't tell the others) and he sees him as a father figure, and Bofur is happy to fulfill that role

Bifur is a toy maker which imediadly caught Ruby attention, Bifur ended up making plenty of wooden toys and small mechanical ones for him

The fingerless gloves were a gift from Ori!

- loves scooby snacks, eats them every time shes little and hungry

- dave is her caregiver!! he puts on cartoons for her because thats what he did when he was little :)

* cartoons he would put on for her: blue's clues, bluey, winnie the pooh, clifford the big red dog, ghibli movies like ponyo

- when she's regressed down to 6+, she enjoys making kandi singlets for her stuffed animals

- she LOVES to take naps, especially when she's under 7. she cuddles in a giant pile with all her plushies and sleeps in it.

Regressor!Lestat de Lioncourt Headcanons

(I already made a moodboard for tv!Lestat, so he gets the first set of headcanons! These headcanons are based on both the TV show and The Vampire Lestat.)

Background/Plot Headcanons:

as a mortal, Lestat was a caregiver to Nicki

Lestat himself didn't regress until he was turned into a vampire, and it hit him hard partially in response to the trauma of his turning

felt deep guilt that he wasn't there to take care of Nicki when he was falling apart after Lestat's disappearance, felt inadequate as a caregiver because of his grief

Gabrielle had a... complicated reaction to Lestat's regression, both understanding it but not wanting to feel "tied down" to a maternal role by it

when Nicki was turned, he still didn't want Lestat anywhere near him when he regressed, and it exacerbated their falling-out

Lestat redirected his caregiver instincts towards Armand, who did enjoy the attention but also lashed out, making Lestat's regression worse on purpose to produce 'equality' between them

Lestat blamed his regression partially for Gabrielle and Nicki's abandonment, and locked that part of himself away before the New Orleans arc: the secrecy and denial fed into his resentment of both Louis and Claudia

Louis actually learns about Lestat's regression from Armand's stories and when Louis + Lestat get back together, Louis makes sure to save space for Lestat's regression, and it's a lot better for both of them that way

General Headcanons:

falls apart fast and then 'ages up' with equal speed, he doesn't spend much time drifting between

easily bored, doesn't like being alone or even sharing space quietly, he wants interaction at all times

book Lestat does not like dolls, but TV!Lestat likes them, because he lacks the Claudia-related trauma around them

defensively careless about his regression: generally keeps it hidden but plays it very 'oh, well, of course, it's nothing' when people realize it or bring it up

mile-a-minute storyteller, switches between French and English when he's over-excited

has a lot of fun dressing up, and will also do makeup on any hapless bystanders

Penelope regresses to 3-5. She still uses pacis and teethers because she likes them.

Lisa frank FEIND! She has about every single Lisa frank product she can get her hands on.

Penelope leaves her gear out in the open so often. She doesn’t have a specific place for them they’re everywhere! Although she does try to keep her pacis and teethers in the kitchen, so she can clean them easily.

Usually she doesn’t bother her trinkets in her home , she prefers to have them displayed, but when she’s regressed she plays with all of them! And like any other kid she hates cleaning up after herself! So usually when she’s done regressing she has to go through her home and clean up.

Biggest gamer baby!! She has a bunch of consoles that she likes to play games on when she regresses. She uses her paci more when she plays games, it helps her focus.

She also has the biggest collection of movies that she watches when shes regressed.

Penelope has meal prepped foods for when she regresses. She wants to make sure shes still adhering to her vegan diet when she’s regressed.

Biggest tea party enthusiast on this planet!! She has tons of snacks that she has for her stuffie guests! And lots of different tea sets mixed together because she needs enough saucers and tea cups for all of her guests!! Her tea parties are very exclusive events, so all of her stuffies have to be dressed for the occasion!

She wears a blanket like a cape 24/7!

She has to keep herself away from loose glitter! The last time she got her hands on it regressed it was all over her house and she was finding it for weeks!

She’s the biggest arts and crafts girlie! It’s 50% of what she does is craft!
