Summary:

Buck tries to grab hold of anything that might save him, anything that might keep him from barreling towards the ground, but everything that he claws at is falling with him. A weightlessness fills his body as he plummets into the abyss below.

He hears his name being screamed over and over again out of his walkie. There’s nothing he can do.

The last thing he thinks before everything goes dark is just one word, one name.

The 118 attends the emergency at the end of 8x18, but it goes awry when the building collapses, trapping Buck inside. Eddie watches as it all happens and is frantic to get him back.

was a tad disappointed in how 8x18 ended, so i wrote this one-shot to rectify it! basically, buck has a nde and eddie goes feral. enjoy!

Summary:

“You made a list.” 

 A pause. “For the cake? Yeah, of course, I wanted to make sure that we got everything we–” 

 “No,” Eddie cuts him off. “You made a list.” 

He looks up, the deep-blue ocean of Buck’s eyes roaring with a gentleness that could pierce anyone’s heart. 

“You made a list. For me.” 

A flush paints Buck’s face as his eyes go wide. “Oh.”

Buck and Eddie make a grocery store run to get ingredients for a cake, but instead of reading the grocery list, Eddie finds a note in Buck's phone all about him.

one of my favorite details in alex and erik’s version is how despite albus being the one to initiate their separation (unwillingly but still), you can see him actively searching for scorpius throughout. And he actually turns around and takes a few rushed steps to scorpius before the staircases are dragged away

after 7 years, eddie is finally realizing that buck will do anything for not only him but christopher, too.

i wonder what else he's finally gonna realize.
