Drifting Stars AU: Mabel gets sucked into the portal before Stanford could come out and the portal shuts down, leaving her in that dimension with Ford while Stan and Dipper have to find a way to turn that portal back on.

(New one that I just saw) Reverse Drifting Stars AU: Ford comes back but the portal doesn’t turn off and it’s Stan and Dipper that get sucked in instead (although from the comment I read, it was just Dipper that gets sucked in which is also heartbreaking).

Other Gravity Falls AU’s if you’re confused>

Reverse Falls AU: their personalities are reversed and instead of the happy silly Pines family that you know and love, they’re the manipulative arrogant Gleeful family that everyone hates. The Pines (read: The Gleefuls) are cold-hearted and (in most cases) has the Reversed-version of Bill wrapped around their finger. Reversed-Bill Cipher (named Will Cipher) is a whiny, sensitive, baby-like version of the dream demon.

Fight Falls AU: Everything is almost the same, except for the fact that Mabel and Dipper can fight well. They got into a lot of trouble at their school and was sent to Gravity Falls so that more trouble wouldn’t happen. Dipper and Mabel are great fighters and have a much more sensitive temper but Dipper is still a nerd and Mabel still has a fun imagination (Just more secretly) Bill Cipher (Named Kill Cipher) loves violence—which isn’t out of character—and is mostly there to not only torment the town but also encourage the twin’s violent nature.

Monster Falls AU: Everyone’s a creature! You can switch up what creatures these characters are but most of the fandom has agreed that Dipper is a deer centaur , Mabel is either a mermaid or a unicorn, Stanley is a gargoyle, Ford is a Greek-style Sphinx, Wendy is a werefox or a moth-person, Soos is a clay golem, Gideon is usually a vampire, Pacifica is either a gorgon or a unicorn, Robbie is a zombie, etc. Bill Cipher is a humanoid hunter with a triangle-shaped head.

Reunion Falls AU: this is Mabel and Dipper but they’re separated at birth. Dipper usually lives in the mystery shack and it’s Mabel that visits years later for the summer.

Relativity Falls AU: Everyone’s age and role is switched. Stanford and Stanley are now the young pine twins going to visit their great uncle Dipper and great aunt Mabel (or just Great Aunt Mabel if you decide to have Dipper lost in the portal) for the summer. (Personal favorite simply because I like the older Mabel and younger Stanley dynamic).

Nightmare Falls AU: In this one, Dipper and Mabel are raised by Bill Cipher in a dimension called the nightmare dimension, and are demons. Dipper is depicted as popular but mean, only cares about helping his twin and causing chaos. Mabel is depicted as shy, creative, and secretly more powerful than she lets on (although they are both supposed to be equally powerful but whatever). Bill Cipher, their adoptive parent, encourages their violent and chaotic tendencies. Not many people touch up on this AU. But many should.

Transcendence AU: This one is really popular. If you’ve been in the fandom for longer than a year, you might’ve heard of it. The story often changes but apparently in the original version, Bill dies due to the Transcendence. Before he passes, he leaves a small part of himself in Dipper who turns into a demon. Or half-demon. I think this is where the whole ‘Alcor the dreambender’ thing began (Even though Dipper’s Demon name would just be Ursa Major and he’d be a star demon).

Demonic Twins AU: This time, the twins switch with Bill Cipher. So now Bill Cipher is Bill Pines (maybe Will is there too) and Gideon summons two demons, Mabel and Dipper, who are evil but aren’t as chaotic as the original Bill.

Crystal Falls AU: literally just the Steven Universe mixed with Gravity Falls. They all have different gems and such. I can’t exactly explain it, considering the fact that I’ve never read this AU nor have I watched Steven Universe, but it’s as it sounds.

Do people not like Frankie? I always see her excluded from the the quartet (Clawdeen, Draculara, Cleo, AND FRANKIE)

As a child I’ve always liked the four of them. I did like Clawdeen and Frankie more (Because Clawdeen is black and Frankie has cool powers). I don’t know how she’s been dubbed as a pick-me when it seems like these boys re throwing themselves at her. And for good reason, she’s not.

I’m not saying to have Frankie as your number one character but don’t start hating just because you want a reason to hate.

The whole Ford and Mabel thing is fun!

With these so on an adventure it’s like, Mabel has such a large imagination that Mabel would be like: maybe the creature is a half-mermaid half-unicorn that breathes out fire and desires the brains of old people. And since Ford has been in a dimension for so long, meeting various types of creatures, he doesn’t brush her off but actually considers it. It’s a gamble on whether or not Mabel’s right.

Now Stan and Dipper are different.

Dipper is smart, canonically smarter than the kids his age, so I think he’d find even better ways to help Stan con people. But since he’s introverted and socially awkward, Dipper would only come up with the plan and Stan would enact it as best as he could. Sometimes Stan would go off script, sending Dipper (who had a long thought out plan in his head) panicking. It’s a gamble whether or not it works.

Great to see Gravity Falls being popular again! I sure hope a certain pro-ship doesn’t become active once more!

Look, I ask for one simple thing. Reluctant parental Bill with reluctant children Mabel and Dipper.

Picture this:

One-sided Ford x Bill (maybe eventually mutual) where Bill comes back, scares the Pines family, and tries to court Stanford Pines once more(because he’s definitely done it before). He knows how protective both of the older pine twins are of the young ones. So, he sets off to do what he assumes would be the perfect way of courting Stanford Pines. Which is to parent the young twins who he tried to previously kill. Yay.

Really, I just need a story of Bill reluctantly bonding with Mabel and Dipper but ultimately failing to connect with them. Finally, he sits back and watches Ford and Stan with the kids, wondering why these stupid kid meat sacks don’t like him (it totally isn’t because he almost killed them). He sees the way Stan and Ford, while rough and rugged, are still gentle with the kids.

Stan has done hilariously dangerous things with the kids but at the end of the day, the two of them are still smiling and laughing. And Ford goes onto long intellectual lectures at times but he also slows down and repeats himself using simpler words for the children (and Stanley).

If anything is to be noteworthy, it’s the fact that while Stan and Ford love the kids equally, they connect with them differently.

Sure, Stan and Mabel are as thick as thieves. They love getting into mischief, scamming people out their money and using the grappling hook to escape from the cops. They tell jokes and laugh at each other, and Mabel is an excellent wingman for Stan.

But Stan also doesn’t mind sitting on the couch and watching his show while Dipper sits on the floor, scribbling in his book. He likes blurting out outlandish plot twists when they watch mystery movies and complains when Dipper tries to make him read a thriller book but secretly reads them at night.

Ford and Dipper get along like a house on fire. Dipper shows incredible skills when it comes to deciphering codes and secret messages. And he has the same knowledge as Ford when it came to the creatures of Gravity Falls (having been studying the journals). Ford loves including Dipper in his experiments.

But Ford also likes having Mabel with them. While her big imagination is seen as childish to most, for Ford (who has been in a different dimension filled with who-knows-what), her theories are often right. He likes hearing her ideas out, no matter how crazy they are. And he does love a good arts & crafts project. He lets Mabel teach him how to crotchet his own sweater.

If Bill was going to put himself into that family (for the sake of having Stanford Pines back) he was going to have to find his own way of caring for the younger twins.

But anyways, that’s all I wanted to share. I’ve always wanted parental! Bill with reluctant! Dipper and Mabel. And as someone who’s been in this fandom for nine years (I watched it in 2016) I’m hoping that I’ll get my wish soon. (If I do then please incorporate Trans! Dipper. It doesn’t even have to be a main focus thing, it’s just a very popular headcannon that’s been around for ages and it’s grown on me like a fungus)

The funniest thing about the ship MariEliza(Maria Reynolds x Eliza Hamilton) is that in the few fics I’ve read, Alexander either saw it coming or is just not surprised.

It doesn’t matter the plot (I.e: Eliza helping Maria out of her relationship with James, Eliza and Alex have a big fight and she meets the woman at a bar, Alex cheats and Eliza gets closure with Maria, etc) and it doesn’t matter the time period (I.e; Modern or historical) the moment Eliza comes out that she’s in a relationship with Alexander, he is simply not surprised.

And it’s really funny when you consider everyone else’s reaction. Angelica is all like ‘I didn’t know you like girls?’ The hamilsquad(which is a very funny name) are all shocked and like ‘Congrats?’ Because they genuinely thought Alex and Eliza were to last forever.

And Alex is just like: ‘Cool 👍’

I’ve never watched a single movie of Harry Potter nor have I read a single word from the books. So, whatever version of Draco that fanfic writers have collectively agreed to write him as is the version I know. And that version is a sassy, dramatic, funny, and pessimistic person who needs a hug at times.

I’ve only read one fic where it’s Draco’s pov of Tom Riddle and Harry Potter getting together (tomarry if you will) and it was very funny.

Because he’s like ‘this is literally Voldemort, the guy that killed your parents, what are you doing?’ And Harry’s like ‘he might be very manipulative and charming and psychopathic but he isn’t so bad now and he’s very hot so who cares!’

Don’t ask me the name, I don’t know it. But I will be needing more fics of Draco and Harry going back in time and Draco watching Harry get together with the same man that caused a whole big war years later and practically ruined Harry’s life. Throw in a rare-pair Draco ship as a treat.
