The crescent for Muḥarram has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Hence, tomorrow (Tuesday) is the 1st of Muḥarram 1445. The day of ʿĀshūrā’ will be next Thursday (July 27). It is hoped that those who fast this day will be expiated for the sins of the previous year. May Allah make us from among those who fast it.
