Here's my art for the @destielnoirbang! I wasn't able to get paired with a writer, but I chose to make art for the prompt, "A Destiel take on The Postman Always Rings Twice". I haven't actually seen the movie, but when googling I came across a concept art poster on Sotherbys (shown behind the cut) and thought it would be fun to do a Destiel version.

Here's the original that I referenced. I tried to stay pretty true to the original, but wanted to change the crop to show Dean's face. It was so much fun to work in a bit of a different style and experiment with some new brushes!

This started as a prompt for the @spnspeeddatingbang, the word was "kiss" with a green colour palette. I originally drew it in green but then realized I wanted this to be warm and soft, so I redid it with these colours. You can see the original green behind the cut if you'd like! Drawing people kissing is hard this reminded me why I usually avoid it 😅

Castiel’s life is pretty well on-track for someone who’s just turned thirty, if he does say so himself — he’s got a great job at the university, he’s just finished his master’s degree, and he has it on good authority that he’s going to be accepted for his PhD next year. Things go slightly awry when he wakes up one morning with a neck so sore and so stiff that he can’t move his head. He’s not sure how he obtained a musculoskeletal injury while writing his thesis, but he is sure that the physiotherapist who will be treating the injury is quite literally the most attractive man he’s ever seen in his life. Dean has never been great at feeling his feelings. Doesn’t particularly want to, thank you very much. That’s where the coke comes in handy. And Cas. Cas has the drugs, Dean has the money (most of the time. Or, well… some of the time at least). One thing about Cas, though? He’s willing to barter.
