as a kid i pictured myself as an independent woman with a brilliant career and no family of her own. what a bittersweet surprise to find out in my mid twenties that i am a wonderful girlfriend who keeps messing up at her job.
what if i was born to be a housewife? what if the conquests of those brave women throughout the centuries weren’t for me?
every mistake feels like i am failing those who came before me. and i could not be more sorry.
