its okay to cry AND TO BE SEEN CRYING
one day all your past mistakes will heal
someone will call you out and you’ll need to listen
food is not the enemy
your body is actually okay and someone will love it
you don't need to wear makeup
you can exercise and not hate yourself
your parents have no clue
try to save a bit of money for yourself so you can blow it later
life won't ever really make sense, go with it.
- things I want to tell to my 16 year old self

Hey friends!!!! Happy Monday 🤗✨💞 As you know I don't partner with many ppl unless I actually think it's cool, great and doing something awesome 💕 I am now a #FabFitFunPartner and got this really fun box from them in the mail 😍📨📦 One of the things that makes @fabfitfun a bit different than other boxes is their partnership with @unicef ❤️ you all know how important it is to me to remain charitable (when you can) and giveback and donate!!! Seriously, if you're a company and you're not doing that, then what gives?! You can choose to donate and this box helps give visibility to those in developing countries. 🙌🙏 I am personally at that part in my life where I don't need extra shoes or the latest iPhone, I prefer to donate money instead. (Again only if you can ❤️) Head over to my Instagram story to see alllll the goodies that are inside this babe!! 💞✨ Annnnnd. Head over to www.fabfitfun.com and use 💥 KENZIE10 (I don't 🚫 receive commission!!) The box comes with stuff valued wayyyy higher than what you're paying for (and I can say this safely because I opened it and know what's inside lol) Plus it's fun to get some fun goodies in the mail to look forward to!!! 😍😍😍😍 Tag me when you get yours so then we can talk about all the goodies w love ⚡️ #happymonday #staypositive #youarebeautiful #loveyourself (at Toronto, Ontario)

Happy Sunday night to all WoC ❤️ ⚡️ I hope this next week for you is gentle, caring and soft. ⚡️ I hope you feel loved and worthy. ⚡️ I hope you feel respect AF and like the queen that you are. ✨ Annnnd. Gentle reminder to white people who are looking to be better allies: ✨ 1. Check in on your PoC friends. 2. Cite and source black media, literature and art. THIS ALSO MEANS GO SUPPORT BLACK EVENTS (without making it about you.) 3. Listen. Deeply. Don't offer advice unless they specifically ask. 4. Stay educated on the events that happen in their community. 5. Revisit history if you contemplate any of these steps. 6. Refer to point one. #blackwomenareACTUALMAGIC #ISSTRUEFAM #respectallwomen (at Toronto, Ontario)

Saving the world and changing the world starts with YOU first ✨ . This can be a magical sentiment (I mean think of how many awesome things you get to be apart of) but also there is a responsibility of saving yourself (taking care of your mental health, your private physical health, etc) and also the task of changing who you are to not be toxic (what values do I have, what biases, how am I contributing negatively and positively to our culture and society.) . See the magic? ✨💕 . See the responsibility? ✨💕 . Both exist. . Happy Friday my friends. #mentalhealthawareness #changeyourlife #selfcare #selflovebootcamp #selfloveisthebestlove (at Toronto, Ontario)

Hey. Is there something you needed to hear today? Is there a sign you've been waiting for? You deserve the best, you deserve the whole world in the palm of your hands. You don't deserve people who treat you like crap, you don't deserve people who put you down or belittle you. You deserve to be uplifted, inspired and loved. You deserve more than what a small Instagram box can conspire. You are worthy. Your life deserves good people in it. It's okay to walk away. Even if you have no idea what to do next ❤️ #selflovebootcamp #hereforyou #selfcare (From @humblethepoet 🙏💕) (at Toronto, Ontario)

Hey friends! A few questions for you: 1. Whats my #health? Go ahead. Take a guess, all you have to go on is how I look. Not quite accurate, huh??? 2. What do #abs have to do with health? 🤔 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Do abs give me better organs? . Do abs give me better reproductive health? . Do abs solve my mental health problems? . Do abs provide me with lower cortisol levels? . Do abs make doctors more affordable? . Do abs take care of emotional trauma? 🚫🚫🚫🚫 Do abs belong in the narrative of health???? 😨 (let alone airbrushed abs!!) The answer: they absolutely don't. Similar to cellulite (oh ya we're going there) some people are genetically predisposed to having lean body masses where they have visible abs. We've made this genetic predisposition the beauty norm, to the point where we work for it now. 👉 People want abs not because it's symbol for homeostasis but because power lies in beauty. 💥 So, what is a beauty norm doing on a so called "health" magazine? 📖📕 Abs have helped create this fear of fat, this beauty norm often confused for a health norm is defining our value and worth in people. 🗣 NO. You can't tell my health from my body and you shouldn't. You can't tell a persons health from looking at them and magazines like this purport that you can. Health is NOT synonymous with abs. Health is multifaceted. Health is personal. Health is private. Deconstructing this is important to respecting bodies and respecting ourselves. What do you think? 📝 #medialiteracy #selflovebootcamp #scienceoverbeautyculture #selflove #mentalhealthawareness (at Toronto, Ontario)
