Egg cleanse. How to & their meaning!

Have you heard about egg cleanses? If you believe evil or someone is out to get you, this is a sure way to tell.

It's pretty simple!

Start by running your egg under water and setting your intention. Be specific with your intent.

Burn an incense or some herbs (frankincense :)) and let your egg run through the smoke.

Rub your egg on your body from your head to your toes. Focus on the egg absorbing the negative energy in your body.

Crack the egg into a glass of water.

Next, it's time to read your results.

Here are the meanings of an egg cleanse:

Bubble rising - Negativity

Figures in the yolk - Envy

Nails/Needles shapes - someone does not want you to succeed, you have an enemy

Coating on the yolk - someone is angering you

Red or black spots on the yolk - Illness/disease

HOW TO WRITE SIGILS

WHAT IS A SIGIL?

A broad definition of a sigil is a two-dimensional design that has particular magical effects.

A sigil can be compared to an encrypted message.

The idea that a sigil is designed to represent is its magical purpose.

Every sigil is a visual manifestation of an intention that it works to fufill.

Sigils might also be referred to as seals.

HOW TO MAKE A SIGIL

To start the process of designing a sigil，think of a current dilemma or goal you are facing.

Imagine how the situation might be if everything were perfect.

Your sigil can not make that happen on its own. Instead of trying to make a sigil to tackle a giant concept, think about one obstacle that is keeping your current situation from being your ideal one.

By choosing a single element for your sigil to target，you have given it a better chance of actually doing something to help you.

TYPES OF SIGILS

Once you've finished your design，consider these ways you can use your sigil.

There are three forms that sigils can take:

Permanent Sigils are made to last for a long time, so that it is constantly working. Permanent sigils should to be recharged if need be. Best for spells that work on a subconscious level，like protection spells.

Destructible Sigils, this sigil is destroyed in some way in order to activate it. The destruction is the burst of energy the spell needs to work. Best for spells that call for a certain event to take place，with energy and action.

Temporary Sigils are created in a form that will naturally wear away over time or a form that is removable. Best for spells that are time based，like a temporary increase of luck or a surge of creativity.

Banishing is far more specific and direct than warding.

burn a slip of paper with your target's name on it

when the candle has burnt out. the banishing is complete

make your own banishing sigil find one that resonates with you

place it in the space or on the item you are banishing energy from

Green witch activities 🧚🏽‍♀️🍄

Collect flowers or herbs outside

Get a plant pet (name them and talk to them!)

Create clay works or clothes that fit with your aesthetic

Take yourself on long walks outside

I'm always adding new books to my witchy/pagan/wiccan collection. So far I have 19 books and I've started reading alteast 3 of them, including this one. You can never have too many books!!!

I find these books are really simple and easy to understand, expecially for beginners. She does an introduction to what witchcraft is and briefly touches early history on witchcraft.

These books, authored by Skye Alexander, are beautifully made and really drawn me in. Being someone who loves and appreciates books as a whole, these two are designed so well for the eye.

10 Easy Protective Habits

Carry Rosemary and salt in your pocket, purse, or keep in a satchel.

A lit white candle in a circle of salt will protect a room.

A lit black candle repels and banishes unwanted energy quite well.

Hang Garlic in your kitchen to ward away mischief and evil.

Add Pine essential oil to cleaners for an added cleansing boost when washing tile/hardwood floors.

Grow Rosemary, Lilac, Lavender or Rose at your doorways to protect them.

Use knot magick when tying shoe laces, bows, headbands, etc for added protection.

Draw protective sigils or wards onto your skin with make up or lotion/moisturizer before blending.

Hang protective charms off your pet’s collar.

Sprinkle a combination of Salt, Lavender, Rosemary and/or Rose onto a hard surface and sweep/vacuum the next morning for a cleansing sweep.

☾ Rose Salt ☽

One of my personal favorite things to make, Rose Salt has a variety of uses. Whether you use it as a scrub in the shower to cleanse yourself and your energies, as a relaxing soak in a warm bath to relax in, or sprinkle it in doorways and on windowsills as a form of protection, it’s multipurpose and very easy to make! What You’ll Need: - Dried Roses - Salt - A Vessel With a Lid to Keep It In - A Mortar & Pestle Optional: - Rose Essential Oil Steps:

Take the petals and buds of your Roses, save the stems and thorns for other spells, and grind them finely with your Mortar & Pestle.

Add Salt.

Mix both well until they are combined well.

Add the mixture into the vessel you chose.

Add the essential oil, seal the vessel, and gently shake to combine everything together more easily.

One of the many properties of Roses is Protection as is with Salt so combining the two gives you a simple, fragrant protective material to keep around your home.

When Your Spell Fails

no witch succeeds with their spells 100% of the time. here’s a short list of reasons why it could have happened and some solutions

possible reasons why:

distraction - a spell you’re not invested in isn’t going to have much power behind it. if you’re concentrated more on you. if you cast a motivation spell while planning out your vacation, it’s going to subtract from that motivation. 

rosemary replaces everything - supposedly. it supplies general power, but if you add nothing into the spell that has any real meaning to you, then what is that power supposed to do? where does that energy go with no direction?

associations - the correspondences everyone else lists for herbs and stones and planets can be very useful, but sometimes you have a personal conflicting association. perhaps lavender is gross to you, and not peaceful at all. then that dream sachet isn’t going to give you peaceful dreams. 

didn’t help the spell - magic does not exist in a vaccum. spells can only do so much, but if you don’t make the effort, it much less likely to work. job spells dont work if you don’t fill out applications, love spells don’t work if you don’t go out and talk to people, and so on. 

too many cooks - if you cast 10 love spells, and yet no one is attracted to you, it’s entirely possible they all did work but they all conflicted with each other, and ended up canceling each other out. 

shot for the stars- sometimes you try to achieve something, and you set your expectations too high. either it’s impossible, you’re trying from the wrong angle, or you didn’t get as much as you wanted.

cancellation - sometimes a spell may appear not to work when it does, but the results are invisible because it canceled something else out. say you cast a money spell and get no extra cash after several weeks, it could be just helping you maintain your current income and blocking extraneous expenses.

impatience - unless you programmed a working time limit into it, the spell could be working and you just don’t see the results yet. these things can take time.

out of your depth - if you don’t feel like you’re ready to do a spell, your lack of confidence or discomfort can either disable the spell or not give it enough power to work

what to do:

take a break, ground, cleanse, and give it time. refocus your intentions

contemplate each ingredient and step in the spell, and modify

use the ingredients that you know best work for you, old standards hold up.

think about what you could do to help the spell work. what mundane methods haven’t you tried?

take a step back and look at it realistically. is there another angle you can approach this from, can you break it down into smaller steps?

return to the spells you are comfortable doing, and work from there.

How to make Candles

This is a really easy explenation on how to make basic candles. I went with “normals” one, so white and without a scent, ofc you can add oils and herbs. 

INGREDIENTS: 

Natural wax

Glass jar or container

Wick with base

Small pot

Wooden spoon

Herbs or oils 

PREPARATION:

-Attach the wick to the bottom of the container, if it has no adhesive bottom use bi-adhesive tape

 Place the saucepan on the heat and put the wax to melt

When the wax is completely dissolved add food coloring+ herbs, oils

Pour the wax into the container and wait for it to become solid.

🌼 Little chamomile milk tea potion 🌼

I made this to relax before bed and bring in sweet dreams and happiness the next day. This is good after a stressful day or when you want a good nights sleep.

What you need

-3 chamomile tea bags - relaxing, peace, happiness

-water (I used normal water but you can use rain or moon water for more of an effect)

-milk

-honey - to sweeten your dreams

-cinnamon - to bring happiness into the next day and to remind you that the sun always rises the next day

Steps

I. Fill a mug ¼ full of water and pour it into a pot. Put the chamomile tea bags in and simmer the pot to let them seep

II. Let the tea get really strong. Maybe simmer it for about 10 minutes

III. Fill the mug about ¾ full of milk and pour it into the tea. Make sure to leave the tea bags in.

IV. Add in honey and stir until devolved. Once your milk tea is warm, pour it into the mug and sprinkle cinnamon one top

V. Hold the mug in your hand and change it with calm and happy energy
