Cartoon violence is healty for kids to watch. You can see that Gumball just hurt himself without the cartoon violence because now he needs to see how the pain will be. Who would want their kids to hurt themselves because they are courise of the feeling? Not me! Then I rather would like them watching it instead of doing it.
