Did you ever read or have your name read aloud in class as part of a story/poem/math problem? If so how did you feel about it?

I can vividly remember reading ahead and spotting my name and feeling my stomach drop like it does on a roller coaster but bad. I hated it so much, everyone looking at you and grinning when the name was read and like no I have no affiliation with this person or their actions do not look upon me and judge.

My name is Amy so I’m about as generic as it gets 😂 so yeah I saw my name quite a bit and I hated it too, social anxiety and that situation do not mix well lol. I remember one time somehow my name and one of my brothers name was in the question, people who knew me well would not stop taking the mick for a solid couple of days because at like 10 it was peak humour apparently

Since I've seen many posts about people missing how common asks used to be, I have been trying to send to more asks to engage more. I really don't want to bother anyone though so I'd love to know if you enjoy receiving asks and if so what kind of asks. Detailed? Vague? Work? Fandom? Movies? Books? Childhood? Gardening? Thoughts? OTPs? OCs? I'm sure there are way more categories, I'm not limiting you to these listed options. Perhaps if it's an easier question what types of asks do you not like?

Do you like to shop at yard/garage/tag/rummage/bin/boot sales? If so what's one of your favorite things you've found? Personally a favorite find of mine is vintage glass ornaments.

I’m British so charity shops are as close as I get to that sorta thing, I found the whole lotr extended trilogy and was proper gassed

Do you adore alliteration? Are you prime for a rhyme? Perhaps mad for metaphors? Silly for similes? I love them all but alliteration is probably my favorite, which is yours? If you speak or write or read more than one language do you have a different favorite for different languages? I assume that these can all be applied to any language.

In case you need a refresher: Alliteration is the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.

Rhyme is correspondence of sound between words or the endings of words, especially when these are used at the ends of lines of poetry.

Metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.

Simile is a figure of speech that directly compares two things. Similes differ from metaphors by highlighting the similarities between two things using comparison words such as "like", "as", "so", or "than", while metaphors create an implicit comparison.

I’m kinda like drax where a lot of metaphors I won’t understand but I do like them (aka I’m autistic 😂). Alsoooo I’m not much of a fluent speaker yet but reading/writing Spanish is great.

Back in my school days, fellow students used to call me a crow or raven because I was always picking up pretty rocks, buttons, beads, jewelry, etc. Did you ever get called an animal by peers? Why?

2 weekends in a row watching lotr movie overnight in a cinema. My back is dead 😂 I have no regrets, the amount of people I’ve met as an introvert is crazy and the vibe is just indescribable.

Hobbit next 👀 though I have the tism so I’ve watched it at least once a week for over a year now 🤭

Soooo my dumb self decided uni at 17 was a great idea, lemme tell you it’s a lot harder than expected. I say this for why I’ve dipped randomly again, I don’t see myself being properly active again until new years but I’ll occasionally randomly pop back. Although I do know I’ll be making a few posts cus I’m doing two more movie marathons and I’m getting a hobbit tattoo sooo yeah but my apologies but I kinda choose uni over tumblr lol but I appreciate you lil gremlins. :)
