Legolas has a giant tattoo that spans all over his back. He also has tattoos trailing down his arms and on other places.

But he always covers up if he’s outside of greenwood bc propriety, so none of the questers know untill they have to all wash in a river (just bc they’re on a quest doesn’t mean they can’t have good hygiene) and gimli jokes that legolas has a princess body

Only for legolas to take of his top and he’s like-

Completely covered in tattoos and scars (and he’s ripped, his clothing makes him look skinnier than he actually is) and everyone’s going WTF bc “ i didn’t know elves had tattoos?!? I thought they were all about purity and shit”

Legolas: no, that’s more high elves, and even then that depends on the elf. But i’m a silvan. We all have tattoos.

Your tattoo is amazing!!! How long did it take to complete it?

Thanks sm 🤭 andddd it was around maybe 4.5 hours ish. Got it done all in one sitting whilst watching the hobbit movies 😂
