The Day the Earth Blew Up was SUCH a fun watch with just amazing animation, ESPECIALLY that gum monsterholyshitdog. And I just loved/resonated so much with the not-so-subtle shade they had Petunia throwing at derivative, uninspired, repackaged, BLAND "gum". How perfect for the movie to be released around the same time as that Snow White junk to just drive that point home of taking chances and trying something new with creative endeavors vs constant soulless remakes that are creatively bankrupt. I fucking hate these "live action" animation remakes ya'll lol they make me so mad. Anyways, burn that shit up Petunia <3

Season 4 of The Patrick Star Show starts airing next week and I've got a backlog of work from the previous seasons I haven't shared on here lol though I have a lot up on my website here for seasons 1-3, so I'll share some more of my faves here. This whole episode "Time to Eat" is all time travel shenanigans centering around food, and I'm very glad I got two of the more "dark" sections, specifically the Donner Party lol. Was also very happy to stick in the Madame Defarge knitting reference by the guillotine, that video you can find at the link.

My very delayed response to Terry Pratchett’s death a few weeks back. Not going to lie, it wrecked me. I wanted to make something right away but had no idea what would be appropriate, and kept running out of free time.  

I feel like everything I have to say about him and his work and world has already been said a million times over, I don’t have a lot to add to it. If you're a fan of animation and animation workers, then you have more than likely encountered and enjoyed the recent Union Yaoi art trend

Here's my current contribution, from when we were encouraging TAG people to come to the TAG Town Hall lol

If you've been enjoying this as much as we in TAG have, I highly encourage you to donate to AID IA ; a mutual aid fund formed by members of IATSE for IATSE members in financial need. So many people in IATSE, which TAG is part of, have been struggling and even out of work for over a year. The studios pay us pennies compared to what they're making, but we've come together to help one another out. And that's where the YAOI TAX comes in! When members started sharing this Yaoi Tax idea, $4,000 were donated to AID IA in just about a week, which is amazing! You can also specify what Local you'd like to help, for animation that would be Local 839. If you have the means, and I know people are overwhelmed right now from also donating to Gaza funds, it would mean the world to animation workers. And if you can't just sharing this info is great! This was another episode where it was really fun to see my layouts translated into the final backgrounds! Seeing it in color and with the 90's bowling alley carpet really ties it all together. I didn't get to do much with the alien captain outside of this sequence but I'd love if we had him show up again lol

Anyways "Star-Robics" is one of the newest episodes released and its so good and I'm SO HAPPY with how the Sailor Cecil transformation turned out! I was ready to throw hands to work on the boards for this part, thankfully I didn't have to hurt anyone to get it, and it really is one of my favorite things I've ever done on the show so far. I wanted this to be a worthy parody and tribute to the Sailor Moon transformations and I think we nailed it <333

For any ghoul fuckers going to Midsummer Scream this Saturday! My amazing friend Mo is letting me sell my new Hot Ghoul Summer stickers at their booth Saturday only! This is a trial run to see if people would be interested, so its a very small amount with more of the bumper sticker than the smaller stickers, but if the response is good there and online I want to set up a proper shop to sell them. This started just as wanting a Hot Ghoul Summer bumper sticker for myself but I thought there'd be some fellow ghoul fuckers at the convention and obviously on here that might want some.
