Today I wanna show you a bit of my drawing process. Let’s see how I work!

First of all I search the reference in Pinterest and I draw the rough sketch.

I choose some base colors and play a bit with different tones to see which ones works best for me.

After working on the body shape I draw the lineart (sometimes I skip this step and I work directly with the rough one)

And after a few hours, a lot of layers with colors, shadows and lights this is the final version :)

"Marchen" are Fairytale books, who have guardians that are able to grant humans magical abilities, based off of the particular book. Alex here has the abilities of Alice in Wonderland, though Alex also is a big nerd. the reference to Sailor Moon is merely Alex geeking out over getting to do a magical transformation. [Alex is genderfluid] [also the transformation has nothing to do with ones gender]
