Roomie and our gal pals were the Fury Road crew last Halloween! She's Furiosa, i'm Capable! costume took 1 hour and one bedsheet from the thrift store, + some cocoa powder to make us look dirty

Star disneybound! made the skirt from scratch + hand painted the shirt! Also some costume updates! keep an eye out for me n my friends in the upcoming film, Wonder Buffalo!!

been trying to relax before the semester gets into full swing with some sewing projects!

2 dresses down, and a French bulldog dress + some frozen overalls in the works!!

getting started on wig styling and MORE PAINTING!!!

(i’m helping my friend with his danny phantom, btw, so that’s why that’s there XD)

i decided i didn’t wanna mess up the dress and there was a very high likelyhood of me doing that painting straight on it, so i’m just gonna cut out this little guy and paste it on!!

it’s actually painted on the lining of the skirt that is now the dress! it had a bunch of tulle and everything for a petticoat, but 3 hours and 4 broken needles later, it turned out i didn’t even need it ^^”

WHEE!! A little belated but i’ve been super busy!!

been doing a lot of painting and working on finishing the wand!! 

the reason it’s so spooky is because it was actually originally one of THESE!!!

jeez, it feels like all the lighting everywhere in my apartment is so bad! X0 i promise the color of these (and the dress!) are waaay more on point than they appear!

SO SORRY FOR THE DELAY!! I spent all tuesday night working on a petticoat I didnt even need... augh!! Anyway, as I started working on the accessories (bag, boots, etc), I realized I DONT HAVE A REAL PAINTBRUSH (the bag was painted with a sumi brush) so costume is currently on hold until I get one xD

DRESS COMPLETE!! Minus her little symbol of course, but i’m too scared to start painting it now ^^” I’ll just let it have its moment before i screw it up 

now all that’s left to go with the sewing machine is the petticoat! Roomies, your clean room is coming!

obviously needs some tweaking, as i made up the pattern as i went without much planning (i tried it on last night and OOO-WEEE do some of the seams need a little tlc XD)

obviously not finished but details to come soon hopefully so i can get my dreadful mess out of my poor apartment mates’ business X0

WOW SUCH PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

I made a lot of costumes in highschool for the dance studio I worked at (I made appearances as “princesses”) so I have a lot of mirror sefie shots, woooooo...

Also, the one of the group is at Mickey’s not-so-scary halloween party! I made my friends’ bell and eilonwy costumes!

THRIFT STORE VIKINGS!!!

Last Halloween, my buds and I were How to Train Your Dragon characters!! 

I was kind of disappointed with the way the costumes came out, but I did them in a week with stuff I got from the thrift store so I definitely could have planned it better ^^” Also, it’s the only thing I’ve done recently

We are trying to figure out what to do for this year, so stay tuned!!

Merida costume!! This was definitely one of my favorites. I gave away the dress (and it definitely needed some work!) so hopefully I’ll be able to make a new one relatively soon!
