There's this cat shelter that's still running in Gaza

I'm soliciting help for Tamer Skaik and Samer Skaik, two brothers who refused to abandon their cats even when they could have. But things have gotten really bad for them and they're struggling to feed even their human children and I'm really scared they'll have to resort to the unthinkable if they don't get more funds to acquire food so please pitch in to their campaigns if you can:

Angel

You and her were talking about a date both of you were planning, since she can’t be caught in public without the media, so it would be private. You both were on video calling, you were in comfortable clothing while she did her skin care routine. 

It was a relaxing moment until… 

Slam! “Yo! Reader, need some help with my homework,” Your younger sibling opened your door with a loud thud. 

You sigh and gestured at your computer. “I’m busy at the moment, I’ll help later.” 

It was their turn to groan as you hear Angel laugh into your headphones. They walked closer then looked at your screen. “Is that…?” 

You rolled your eyes. “No, now bug off, isn’t dad coming home soon? You can ask him when he comes back.” 

They looked at you like you were dumb for not telling them who you were talking to. They knew who it was but you both just stared at each other for a moment. Before you said, “I’ll take the last cookie.”

Your sibling took a step back as you heard snickering from your lovely girlfriend. “You wouldn’t.”

“I would.” 

You see them look at you then to your door, before dashing off, making you laugh at them. At last you were free from annoyance. 

“Sorry, I didn’t think my sibling would jump into my room.” 

You see her shoulders jump as she laughs, her laughter fills your ears as you put your headphones back on. “It’s fine, love. I didn’t think you had your siblings over.” 

You shook your head as anxiety fills you, you never told her. “Oh.. No, I live with my parents. Saving for my own place and all…” You drift off. Here you were living with your parents and she was living al-

She interrupts your train of thought. “Must be chaotic over there, huh? But it must be fun, I miss just walking down the hall to talk to my sister.”

She didn’t care. Why would she? You smile softly as you look at her. You sigh in relief, but you still have to plan the date, and if she meets her future in-laws in the process. You were sure it would be fine. 

V

V turns the car off, and both of you leave his car. He lifts his hand out to you. And you took it, the date was nice, the sky was cloudless, the night was perfect. You couldn’t deny he was a romantic. 

“I had a great night, V. Thanks.” You said, squeezing his hand. The light near your door luminates his face, his eyes full of love, his smile was so soft. His arm wraps around your waist, pulling you in. Closer to his- 

Creak

“Oh, honey, you’re back ho– OH! U- uhm.. Excuse me…” Your mom closed the door, leaving the two of you alone.

You felt your face burn as you looked away from your very rich boyfriend. Your hands tightened on your arms when they crossed. His hands stayed put, but you didn’t look up. Your lips pulled into a thin line. 

“Was that your mother, Love?” He asked, his voice was soft, like usual. His hand slips down to your chin, pulling your head up towards him. His eyes and smile were still soft. 

“Y.. yeah,” Slips out of your mouth, your eyes differage. Not catching his line of sight. 

“Well, when you go in, greet her for me.” His hand furthers to cup your cheek once again, kissing your forehead, then to your lips. “Have sweet dreams, Reader.” 

You felt his hand slip from your face as it burns softly, watching him walk back to his car. “You as well!” You yelled out. “Text me when you get home safe!”

You smiled softly as you saw him drive off. 

He didn’t mind.

Ronin

You were on the phone with Ronin, you were getting dressed in your room. It was a video call, camera pointing towards you, you twist your body, making sure your outfit was appropriate, and looked great. 

“Darling, you look great. Haven’t I told ya to chill with those thoughts?” Your goreish boyfriend spoke, he was in comfortable clothing as he was staying home, and he didn’t have work that day.

“Well, I have to look good, I got a family event. My mom has been pressuring me to look good since she made breakfast.” You lightly groan, messing with your hair to look ‘better’. 

“Damn, mother came over, made breakfast, then demanded?” He said, you could see him cross his arms behind his head, as he watched your camera. “She pleaded you with food.”

Putting a few strands of hair out of your face, “Oh, no. I live with them. So she didn’t come over.”

A pause. Shit. You just told your boyfriend that you live with your parents. You didn’t want to tell him that.. You felt blood rushing into your face. You felt your words clutter your throat.

“How did your parents not find out who you are dating, Darling? All guts and gore, they should catch a glimpse of the devil.” You look over to your phone, he didn’t seem… disgusted… more… intrigued. 

“I…” You paused, letting your smile slowly seep into your lips. “I don’t know, but I think it’s a bit funny.”

“More than that, Darling. They don’t know your darkest sins and desires, what you achieve by writing that novel. Meeting the wrong crowd of people. But, I’m surprised they don’t know.”

You rolled your eyes, looking back at the mirror. You looked great. It was a few more minutes before your mother called you down to start driving there. But on the way there, you were texting him. Glad he didn’t care.

Misaki

You heard something knock at your window, and you opened it to see your lovely partner again. Misaki was in town once again for a commission. They decided to visit you before she has to go do it, wanting another good luck kiss. 

You helped them to sit on your windowsill, your hands slipped around her shoulders, as theirs were around your waist. You gazed into their eyes, soft and full of love. One hand cups her cheek. 

You could feel their lips just grazing yours, only to be interrupted by your ringtone. Both of you and Misaki pull back from each other to look at the noise that interrupted a tender moment. You groaned as Misaki laughed.

“Seems important, sugar dumpling,” They loosen your grip, letting you grab your phone, immediately back into their arms, answering the call. 

It was your father, “I won’t be able to get home in time, so go on and order out without me.” 

“Alright, I’ll see you when you get home, Pops.” And you hung up, a bit embarrassed that your father called. You look at Misaki, a bit of blush burns your face. “Sorry.”

“Nah, it’s good.” Their eyes shine under the light, but not a faint of disgust, or any harm intentions, just… Misaki. You felt your lips pulled into a smile. “Now can I go get a good luck kiss, so I can sneak into your room later. Maybe meet the in-laws later.” 

“Then you would have to walk in my front door rather than my window.” 

She snorts, pulling you close. “Alright, a price to pay to get a good first impression.” A small gentle press, then one on your forehead before they disappear below.
