Its my 6th wedding anniversary today. As is tradition I made an illustration to not only celebrate but to show a representation of the past year and what David & I have gone through. I'll be honest not every year is great and sadly we have to face hardships, but its always better to have someone by your side who understands you and has your back through all of it. I chose make a drawing like this, because it's what we're currently going through. We've suffered a lot of hardships this year, but we've also had lot of highs. Through all of this we have continued to work together, to fight together, and to conquer every obstacle in our way! So long as we stand side by side nothing will stop us.

My new tablet just came in. It's technically a downgrade from what I originally had, but given my current circumstances it will be much better then the crappy little backup tablet I tried to use. I'm going to have to practice with it a bit, but I should be able to open commissions again soon.

Lastly we have Mei Mei, Mal's older sister. Mei Mei came from a rough home life as a duckling, because of this she ended up in the foster care system and put in Ben & Jerry's care. Eventually they adopted her and she had herself a real family. She still struggles with her past and the emotions tied to it. She might come of as rude or brash sometimes, but she also tries to help others who have been in similar situations.

Grandpa Bun-Bun is a music lover, his favorite being polka. He loves playing instruments especially the accordion.

Meet Dave the fox, he's snarky, he's fun, and all an around pain in the butt. He pals around with Vanessa and MeiMei. Much like his friends he can be a bit problematic, pushing boundaries just to see what will happen. Overall though he's a good kit, just a bit rough around the edges.

Ben & Jerry are Mal & MeiMei's dads. They met each other on blind date set up by Ben's sister and have been together ever since. Eventually they got married and fostered MeiMei which would eventually lead to her adoption. Soon after they took in an egg that would hatch Mal.

Say hello to MeiMei and her friends Vanessa & Dave. I decide to make a similar drawing to the one I made last week with Winston & his friends.

This is because MeiMei & her friends tend to act as foils to the boys. They're older so sometimes they pick on the little ones, but they're not full on villains. In fact I might make some stories that focus on these three in the future to tackle more mature topics.

Meet Ssstan's parents Sssavannah & Basssil. We don't know much about them yet, but I can tell you they're both family focused. They're also well trained doctors.

I finished coloring this a few a days back, but due to my computer dying I was unable to upload until now. I tried to recreate the Sailor Moon R eyecather, but of course with all of them being animals. Sailor Moon is of course Sailor Bunny, but we also have Sailor Labrador, Sailor Otter, Sailor Raven & Sailor Roo. I made this using alcohol markers & a white paint pen. *Note I don't know japanese so I had to use Google Translate for the characters.

Unfortunately I came down sick yesterday & because of this ended up sleeping most of today away. Also I've had the idea to make this drawing a specific way since I made the prompt list last month. So much like last year I only have the lineart finished today, but I swear I will return to this piece and finish it.

Also I used google translate in order to write the title in Japanese, so hopefully its accurate 🤞 I know sailor is right not sure about bunny.
