I just gave myself a much-needed trim! My split ends were getting out of hand and I desperately needed some layers for volume. So I just went ahead and snipped it up! What do you think? In the pic my head is tilted the other way so it looks shorter overall but I only took off about 1/2 inch of length, so it’s almost the same length still. Having days spent with family and friends who truly care is vital in life. I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have people surrounding me, helping, assuring, and working with me towards positivity and success. My dad is amazing and motivates me every day. My mom is kind and loving and is always willing to help however she can. My girls in town really know how to have fun! My siblings keep it real and always make me smile and laugh. Sometimes I feel down. I don’t think there’s anyone in the world he doesn’t feel this way sometimes. The most important thing is to remember that what we post on social media is just a tiny snapshot of our lives, it’s only one peek into the world of something much deeper. Think of how many thoughts you have in your head and how many emotions your experience every day. Every single person you know experiences just as many emotions every day. The difference is how we will show them, how we all handle them, and how we express them. Sometimes it’s important to not express everything we’re feeling out of respect for other people, but it’s also important to realize that we can lean on the people in our lives and the tribe that we have built in order to find support for the hard things we go through. No matter how hard life gets, there’s always a way to find a silver lining! There’s always going to be a way to look on the bright side, and find the happiness in life! The trick is experiencing your emotions, feeling them completely, moving through and past them, and making your way in life towards a better future taking the lessons you’ve learned from your past mistakes and trials. It’s OK to feel pain, it’s OK to feel bad, it’s OK to know that things in life are not fair, but it’s not OK to let it hold you back.
