super random, but i just noticed voice actor kirinyan has been inactive for more than a year, and his twitter account is also deleted. i googled like a maniac to find someone, anyone talking about this, but nothing.
i loved his asmr on youtube and his 18+ otome content on dlsite and fantia.
i wonder what happened to him. i'm legit crying over this, i loved his voice and his work. i'm on my period so i guess that's that.

the person that wrote the article isn't the person that did the research, sorry if that wasn't clear! i'll edit the post to make it clearer.
you can see in the screenshot that the author refers to the researcher as "his", so third person, and the article is about him getting public backlash for his weird af PhD thesis.
in an article i read:

FANTASY CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL???
or excuse me, did you actually just mean FICTION???
it's one thing to write your PhD thesis about masturbating to shota for 3 months (like... what 💀, you can like shota and whatever, i occasionally read some, but wtf kind of idea is it to write your PhD about "self-experimenting" on it and to then publish a book about your "findings" on the "magic" of "impossibly cute boys". what the heck kind of topic for a PhD is that, and what a toilet water idea to publish a book about it trying to make the existence of shota seem scientific🤦🏻♀️)...
but it's a WHOLE OTHER to write an article and use the phrasing "fantasy CSAM" to refer to shota (f i c t i o n).
"child sexual abuse/exploitation material", holds its name because first of all "CP" implies consent... and because, it is indeed material, that depicts a real child, being abused/exploited, thus depicting actual harm, abuse, and proving an actual action made violating a real child's well-being took place and is being spread.
(i am consciously not using the word "crime", because in some countries, being gay is a crime, and thus it doesn't constitute enough moral ground to be an argument.)
as such, "fantasy" CSAM, is an oxymoron. you can tell the person that wrote the article just wanted to make it seem more shocking and morally wrong by not even calling it "fictional", but "fantasy", to attempt to blur the line even more.
and it's these attempts to blur a word's definition for shock-value at first, and virtue signaling later, that makes today's media landscape so void of literacy.

this might be super extremely niche and might offend some:
but to all my, even only slightly, autoandrophilic women, you're not alone and not broken.
also, you're not a freak or anything. having some out of the norm fetishes is okay as long as you don't go harm real people or yourself.
some people might say autoandrophilia is a myth, but that doesn't matter to me and shouldn't matter to you.
also, having fun with that feeling through strap-ons and the like is a nice option, so don't feel like you're doomed or something.

we've gotten to a point where people polluted by the anti spirit are now even dogging on teens and women thirsting for male kpop idols.
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. literally pea sized brain conversations. at the very least, extreme ignorance as to how the kpop industry makes its money.

uhm....? what the actual fuck. be for real right now. "disgusting and just weird"? i have some really bad news for all these commenters...

yes. yes they are. and that's, NEWS FLASH, COMPLETELY NORMAL. were any of these people ever teens?? having crushes on adult celebs is extremely common. and discovering their budding sexuality through these feelings is also VERY COMMON.

when i was younger, i also read BTS smut. and?
it was mediocre quality writing, and bad characterisation most of the time, but i didn't know that, i just enjoyed my time with it.
young girls and grown women feeling sexual feelings and exploring them in fiction shouldn't be this taboo. it's normal. it's to be expected.

"using them for their own greedy sexual fantasies"? at this point my eyes are falling out of my skull!
SEXUAL FANTASIES AREN'T GREEDY. putting sexual fantasies into harmless text format is NOT GREEDY. it's fucking normal. like, wtf do these people think about when they masturbate.

....sooo, do these people never imagined anything sexual about anyone ever? are all beings in their sexual fantasies fictional with no references to real people? have they never fantasised about their crushes before?
and what does even "hard stan means liking a darker concept" mean! dark concepts are often the sensual ones, so you're supposed to like those but because of pure christian feelings and not because you're a human forming a parasocial relationship with a boyband which more often than not involves sexual feelings?
these people all need a serious wake up call. BTS will never know what's going on in your head, using them as puppets for sexual fantasies and gratification is perfectly normal.
it's even MORE NORMAL, because surprise surprise, the ENTIRE kpop industry is built on, profits off of, and actively encourages parasocial relationships and behaviour. the marketing goal for boy bands is to make a maximum of girls fall for their charms, through various means such as music, good looks, nice personalities, and other displays of character in all the variety shows and live-streams and other content they produce.
making girls thirst, is literally how they make their money. making girls fantasise, is literally how they make their money.
and forming a parasocial relationship founded on attraction, inevitably leads to sexual feelings partaking.
also, they know what they're doing. baepsae's choreography didn't get magically bestowed upon them by the heavens. a choreographer worked that out with the company, and did so with a purpose.
as such is the business model of the kpop industry. girls and women are supposed to fantasise. to catch feelings. to thirst. to imagine jungkook "railing them at 3am". it will make them go to concerts, buy merch, follow their socials, stream their music, buy albums, and finance the industry.
these virtue signalers are truly delusional if they think the kpop industry isn't MAKING BANK on exactly what they're calling out to be "creepy and disgusting".

came across this absolutely braindead post on a trauma subreddit:

news fucking flash: THE ENTIRE WORLD CAN'T AND SHOULDN'T PANDER TO YOUR TRAUMA! THE ENTIRE WORLD CAN'T AND SHOULDN'T ACCOMMODATE TO EVERY SINGLE TRIGGER AND THEME THAT DISGUSTS YOU! THE WORLD IS NOT YOUR PERSONAL BABYSITTER!
fun fact, my abusive father used to violently pull my whole head of hair as physical punishment. along with a lot of other shit he did, like spanking me, getting my hair pulled like that traumatised me, and thus i can't stand the thought of someone pulling my hair or spanking me in a sexual setting or otherwise.
NOW DOES THIS MEAN OTHERS CAN'T ENJOY IT? NO! DOES THIS MEAN FICTION DEPICTING THESE ACTS AS SEXUALLY PLEASURABLE SHOULDN'T EXIST? NO! DOES THIS MEAN THAT I STAY AWAY FROM SUCH CONTENT BECAUSE IT MAKES ME UNCOMFORTABLE? ABSOLUTELY YES!
i saw a single comment under this post that said something along the lines of, why blame people for their preferences, it's the adult that groomed OP that is at fault, young people having fantasies isn't perpetuating grooming. i thought i found a sound mind underneath all this rubble, but behold the reply i got:

literally what happened to media literacy.... 😦 was speechless reading this. "glorification of abuse" my ass.
between the OP saying "only if you were traumatised the same way are you allowed to enjoy dark fiction" and this moron that threw media literacy and "the internet isn't a babysitter for children" out of the window, on top of being as hyperbolic as saying the "glorification of abuse" is lana del rey's brand....
objective discernment, beyond the unwise wisdom based on disgust, was not present to say the least.
(why would i even get mad at people wanting nanami to pull their hair after that one episode in s2, like why does that matter, whyyyyyy)

gentle reminder: going by anti logic, all male love interests in most otome games are "pedophiles".
let me preface by saying, i know it sounds crazy. but hear me out.
let me take the new shining star in the otome gacha genre as an example: love and deepspace. the male love interests in it are aged 24, 27 and 28, with one being of unknown age. (!!!spoilers ahead: current lore even suggests that they all may be way, waaay older!!!). the mc has no canonical age, but is assumed to be an adult.
this is the important part: antis always prioritise the age of the actual person playing the game over the fictional character they self-insert into, as easily demonstrated by their disapproval or outright hate of romantic or sexual fanfictions/games/media providing self insertion into an underage group (such as high schoolers) being played/read by adults. in short, an adult self inserting into a high schooler dating high schoolers is still "being a pedophile" to them.
and this gets especially funny and ridiculous if you turn the tables on them. love and deepspace and tears of themis all have very much adult male love interests, with a through context assumed adult mc. but that doesn't matter, what matters is the person behind the screen playing. plenty of minors play love and deepspace and tears of themis.
and thus, adding that to the anti mindset that fictional beings can "consent", can pass the whatever the fuck test to prove they can consent, can be "violated" or "disrespected", fictional beings can also decide to be "pedophiles". which every single adult male love interest in both of these games and many many more are "deciding", when they "decide" to court a minor player, and even bed a minor player in a tasteful fade to black manner.
so, wake up call everyone, get out all your pitchforks, because we bouta take all the handsome anime men in otome games to fiction court in fiction land for their fiction crimes!

all these beloved boyfriends, *fiancées* even in tears of themis, arrested and put in fiction jail for daring to lay a hand on a minor.
similar hypocrisy can also be seen when antis criticise the persona franchise and its fandom: for quick context, persona is a series of games with a self insert high school protag about you and your clique saving the world with your jojo stand. while doing so the game allows you to forge bonds and romance available partners, most of them being fellow high schoolers.
on one end, there's "b-but you're an adult playing the game and dating minors, so gross, so problematic, so disgusting, you're such a pedophile!!!", and on the other, there is "yeah but the fact that romancing your teacher is an option is so messed up, like, so problematic, like, wtf that's unacceptable, mc is her minor student, the fact that you like that is so wrong!!!".
no need to have a PhD in mathematics to see that something doesn't add up lol. antis always prioritise the person behind the screen, until you can make it problematic by not prioritising that, and that obviously leads to some funky "you can never win" arguments.
whether i choose to romance the teacher or choose to romance my 15 year old friend, antis are gonna have to say something about it. (and of course, all otome husbandos need jail NOW😡)

another thing to add to this in the same line of thought, is that they believe that lust is a morally corrupting force.
you can play fortnite and get rewarded for being the most efficient murderer, and that's okay, but you can't get off to a fanfic of a person holding their partner at gunpoint during intercourse, because that's sexual, and will rewire your brain and make you do despicable things.
this whole thing is probably a result of this idea of "lust=the devil tempting you to do sin" that christianity and some other religions propagated, that is now deep-seated in our cultures.
Sorry for the serious post, I don't usually make these, but I just have thoughts
But, the way antis seem to think rape/SA isn't the same as other types of violence really bothers me. It's called "sexual violence" for a reason.
By treating SA as though it isn't a form of violence, you make it seem like it's bad because of someone's "purity" being violated/it just being "gross."
Being gross is NOT what makes it bad. What makes it bad is the fact that a person is being fucking harmed.
In my opinion, mainly in the case of women, this also leans into misogynistic ideas of a woman's value being placed on her "sexual purity" instead of the fact that she's a human who has been hurt. Maybe I'm looking too far into it, but that's honestly what it feels like to me.
Not only that, but making rape and murder out to be "not the same" in terms of violence also takes away from the seriousness of murder in my opinion? Murder is horrible and terrible thing, a person has lost their life and their families and friends end up traumatized. Yet antis seem to treat it as though it's not that bad (at least in comparison to other things).

so i read this shota itachi x naruto x sasuke fic (with clear warnings literally on the front page) just now, and i've been really starting to see a pattern in ao3 comment sections.

there's always old comments, from when the fanfic was first published (in this case 2013), all mostly very normal, appreciative, and aware that this is merely HTML text on an internet archive. I only found a single old comment that was cussing into the void about pedophilia this, child pornography that. (seriously, "CP" is not the right word, it's CSAM/CSEM, at least get it right if you're gonna complain).
and then boom, from 2020 onwards, somehow suddenly a rise in accusatory anti comments. it's almost as if the rise of tiktok and the pandemic suddenly got everyone's panties in a twist:

"i'M jUsT trYiNg tO gEt yOu tO hAvE cOmMoN sEnSe :)" 💀 (eri_sama is me btw)

"straight up illegal shit".... no. molesting children is illegal. and even if it wasn't, it's horrible. this though? that's just some text. strings of letters next to each other in some kind of order.
and as a closing note, here is some positivity ^^ :

remember guys, and i quote, "it's just a frigging story xD".
you're not hurting anyone by reading an HTML text composed of letters stringed together in some kind of order on an internet archive.
