I am Ammar’s mother from Gaza

Sharing my heartfelt plea as a mother full of pain and hope.

My son, Ammar,

is still in the ICU 🏥,

suffering from severe heart muscle weakness ❤️‍🩹

and needs a pacemaker 🔋 to keep his heart beating.

Every week, he needs a special injection 💉 costing $630,

which is essential and can’t be delayed.

He is expected to leave the ICU this coming Tuesday 🗓️,

but our home in Gaza isn’t suitable for his medical needs.

We urgently need a medical tent ⛺ before his discharge,

which costs $5200 💰.

My son Amar is only 10 months old, but he's already fighting battles no baby should ever face.😭🙏

He has been diagnosed with severe heart muscle weakness and urgently needs a pacemaker implant to survive.🙏🙏

But in Gaza, there is no facility to do this procedure. He must travel to Egypt, and the cost is far beyond what I can afford.🫂💔💔

Due to the war, dust, pollution, and constant bombings, Amar’s tiny heart suffered even more.😭💔

His arteries were blocked and he recently had a heart stent operation.🙏🙏

Now he needs life-saving post-surgery treatment every 5 days, costing $700 each time.🙏🙏

A year has passed since the October 7 war, the Gaza Strip war. In this war, Ammar Hammad was born in harsh conditions. He was 3 months old and could not breastfeed from his mother because she suffers from asthma in the lungs and no milk comes down in her udder. There is a report from Nasser Hospital about this. Ammar needs about 10 packs of milk to help him live in these conditions, in addition to diapers and his special clothes. In addition, Ammar's son suffers from a complete tear in the cruciate ligament and cannot work. Therefore, Ammar needs your help to stay alive.

As for the place to live💔

Our house is completely destroyed. We have nothing left. We live in the middle of shattered rubble.

Everything is broken for us We hoped that our first child would live a happy life, but everything was destroyed. Ammar's room was destroyed. Everything disappeared in a moment.
