From wedding bells to job hunting: life's twists and turns
Hey there, Tumblr fam! It's been a hot minute since I last posted do I have some news to share!
First off, the good stuff: I tied the knot! 💍👰 That's right, your girl is officially married! And get this - we honeymooned in Denmark! 🇩🇰 It was absolutely magical, and I'm still floating on cloud nine from all the love and happiness.
Now, here's where things get a bit… interesting. Well, my employer decided to give me a rather unconventional wedding gift - they closed my contract. 😅 Talk about a plot twist, right?
So here I am, fresh off my honeymoon bliss, diving headfirst into the job hunt. Not exactly the "newlywed glow" I had in mind, but hey, life's an adventure, right?
I made a conscious decision to leave all the job stress behind during our trip, and you know what? It worked! Our wedding was absolutely spectacular, and our honeymoon was pure bliss. I wouldn't change a thing about those precious moments.
But now that I'm back in the real world, I could really use some extra love and support from my Tumblr family. 💖 You guys have always been there for me, and it means the world.
Oh, and before I forget! For those of you who've been asking about my Etsy shop, it's still up and running! If you're in the mood for some handmade goodies, swing by my Etsy store. And because I love you all so much, use the promo code TUMBLR02 for a special discount until the end of February!
If you're feeling extra generous and want to support your girl during this transition, you can also buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. Every little bit helps, and I'm endlessly grateful for those who've already shown their support.
Thanks for sticking with me through the highs and lows, Tumblr fam. You're the best, and I promise to keep you updated on this wild ride called life. Sending virtual hugs to each and every one of you! 🤗💕

🤔 Is cross-stitch just for grandmas? Let's stitch the stereotype!
Hey, craft enthusiasts! 👋 I've been thinking about something lately, and I need your hot takes.
We've all heard it: "Cross-stitch? Isn't that just for grandmas?" 🧓👵
But here's the thing - I'm seeing more and more young people picking up needles and creating some seriously cool stuff. From sassy quotes to pixel art recreations, cross-stitch is getting a major makeover.
So, what's your take?
Is cross-stitch shaking off its "old-fashioned" image?
Have you tried it? What was your experience?
For the seasoned stitchers: how has the craft changed over the years?
Let's unravel this thread together! Drop your thoughts in the comments. Whether you're Team Granny Chic or Team Stitch Revolution, I want to hear from you!

🎉 Guess who just leveled up their Tumblr game? This crafty gal right here! 🙋‍♀️✨
I'm super excited to share that I've created a shiny new support page for anyone who wants to cheer me on in my creative journey. Check it out: https://ana-craftgo.tumblr.com/donation
I've gotta say, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. It's like a cozy little corner of the internet where my awesome followers (that's you!) can show some love if they're feeling generous. 💖
There are two cool ways to support:
Buy me a virtual coffee ☕ (because caffeine = creativity, right?)
Visit my Etsy shop for some digital craft goodies 🧵🎨
I put a lot of heart into designing this page, and I think it looks pretty darn cute if I do say so myself. 😊 It's simple, friendly, and hopefully makes you smile!
Your support, whether it's a donation, a purchase, or just your amazing presence here, means the world to me. It's what keeps me motivated to keep creating and sharing with this awesome community.
So, if you're curious, why not take a peek? 😉
Thanks for being part of this journey with me. You all rock! 🤘💕

Revisiting "Bad Teacher": A Decade Later
OMG, I just rewatched "Bad Teacher" with Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, and I'm shook! 😱 It's wild how differently I see this movie now compared to when I first watched it as a teen like 10-12 years ago.
Back then, I just remembered it being funny and the actors being hot. But now? Holy crap, Justin Timberlake's character is such a massive jerk! 🚩 As a teen, I thought he was just this cute teacher with some ex-girlfriend drama. Now I'm literally yelling at the screen because of how awful he is. 😤 The way he uses that redhead teacher as an emotional crutch while pining over his ex? Ugh, I used to know people like that and thought it was normal. Now I'm like, hell no! 🙅‍♀️ I've definitely cut those types out of my life.
But I gotta give it to JT - he nailed playing such an annoying dude. That scene where he sings that cheesy love song with his terrible voice? Cringey AF but also hilarious! 🎤😂
The whole time I'm watching, I'm just like, what does Cameron Diaz's character even see in this guy? His family's money? But we don't even see any proof that he's actually rich! No fancy car, no big house, nada. 🤔💸
And don't even get me started on how these characters just casually break laws left and right. Is that how it works in the US? (IDK, never been there.) Like, you can just do illegal stuff in front of cops and it's all good? 👮‍♂️🤷‍♀️
It's crazy how much your perspective can change as you grow up. This rewatch was definitely an eye-opener! Anyone else have a similar experience rewatching an old movie? Let me know in the comments! 👇

🌸 Breaking Taboos, One Stitch at a Time: The Story Behind "Care Companion" 🧵
Hey stitchers! 👋 I wanted to share the inspiration behind my pattern, "Care Companion."

I've been thrilled to see how women's hygiene is becoming more openly discussed, breaking free from old taboos. It's about time we normalize talking about periods and the products that make our lives easier!
Why I Created This Pattern 🎨

🧶 New Year, New Craft: My Adventure in Needle Felting 🐑
Hey Tumblr fam! Guess who decided to shake things up this year? Yep! I've dived headfirst into the world of needle felting, and oh boy, what a ride it's been!
First things first: these little felted creatures? Unbearably cute! 😍 I mean, have you seen how adorable a tiny wool animal can be? It's enough to make your heart melt!
But let me tell you, it's not all fluffy clouds and rainbow dreams. The number of times I've stabbed my fingers with that felting needle? Countless! 🩹 I swear, my fingers have developed a fight-or-flight response to anything pointy now.
Is it challenging? Absolutely. Is it time-consuming? You bet. Do I love it anyway? 100% yes!
There's something magical about watching a shapeless tuft of wool transform into a little character under your (occasionally bleeding) fingertips. It's like sculpting, but softer and more unpredictable.
So here I am, bandaged fingers and all, completely hooked on this new craft adventure. Who knows what I'll create next? Stay tuned for more woolly wonders and misadventures in stabbing fluff!
Have any of you tried needle felting? Got any tips for a newbie with sensitive fingertips? Drop your wisdom in the comments!

🎉 First Sale Update: The Reality of Etsy Fees
Hey Tumblr! Remember the first sale I mentioned earlier? Well, the payment finally went through, and I've got some eye-opening numbers to share with you all.
The Breakdown
Here's what happened with my €0.66 sale (2 things):
Etsy VAT: Processing Fee: -€0.09
VAT: Transaction: -€0.01
Transaction fees: -€0.03 (€0.02 + €0.01)
VAT paid by buyer: -€0.14
Processing fee: -€0.33
Listing fee + VAT (auto-renew sold): -€0.24 (€0.19 + €0.05)
Listing fee + VAT (auto-renew sold): -€0.24 (€0.19 + €0.05)
The Shocking Total
So, I earned €0.66 from the sale, but the total fees and costs came to... €1.08! 😱That means I actually lost €0.42 on this sale. Yes, you read that right - I paid Etsy to sell my item!
Tumblr media
What I've Learned
Low-priced items can actually cost you money to sell.
It's crucial to factor in ALL fees when pricing your items.
The journey of an Etsy seller is full of surprises!
Moving Forward
While this first sale wasn't profitable, it's been an invaluable learning experience. I'm now working on adjusting my pricing strategy to ensure sustainability while still offering value to my customers. Thank you all for following along on this adventure. Your support means everything!
