Our world is on fire. 2020 has been a year none of us could expect. The idea of chaos and purge-like action is becoming more and more real. I put this blog on hiatus because of this and because it just felt too real.

I had been debating moving this story to a fanfiction for the time being and after alot of thought I will be doing that to get this story out faster. I hope to continue this blog with that fanfic as a script, but if not I'll just share peoples fanart and story updates here.

The story of Anarchy Park may feel too real right now, but I think some people could use a happy ending in this mess to cope. I'll post an update when the story is live.

IKE: Fucking American bullshit. Wouldn’t have this problem if we were in fucking Canada, no sir. Canada doesn’t fucking isolate its citizens and let them kill each other mother fucking assholes. God, Ike, you’re nuts for thinking someone is gonna help you via tumblr. Tumblr’s dead, isn’t it? Maybe I should use some other site. 

IKE: Ugh, I’m talking to myself again. I’m gonna end up as crazy as Kyle at this point. 

IKE: Oh shit, I actually have asks! People are actually noticing! Yes! Maybe we can get help now!

IKE: I’m so much better now that there are asks in my inbox. You guys have no idea how wonderful it is to see someone responding to me for once. Actual real people! And none of you are trying to kill me! Well, you can’t actually because this is over the internet, but you get the point.

IKE: Things have been pretty calm these past few days. It’s super unnerving. The only time we hear much from the outside world is when the Phoenix patrols bring us supplies. Stan and Wendy have an agreement to help each other, thank God. Wendy provides us with food and medical supplies and in return, Stan feeds her any news we find out along with anything he scavenges nearby.

IKE: Also, I man the communications to the outside world like I’m doing right now. I don’t doubt they also have some kind of hook up, but considering Kenny doesn’t have a laptop who knows. I think they’re also in the sewers too? Or something along those lines. 

IKE: I should probably tell Wendy that I’m getting outside information. She’ll be really happy to hear that you guys are listening to us. Ah, fuck, there was something I was supposed to say I think when I got contact with you guys. 

IKE: It probably isn’t that important if I can’t remember. I’ll just tell you guys later when I remember I guess. No use killing myself over-

STAN: Ike!

IKE: JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!

IKE: This better be really fucking important, Stan! You nearly gave me a heart attack! 

STAN: I just wanted to know if you wanted any pizza. I made pizza. Also, why were you just sitting here in the dark? Wait, Is that pepsi? Dude, are you drinking pepsi right now?

IKE: Maybe.

???: South Park, Colorado. An ideal little mountain town where nothing could ever go wrong, at least, that’s what it used to be. We lived in ignorance, believing we were untouchable, that our little town would always stay the same and unquestioned. We were wrong.

???: Overnight, our roads became barricaded, guarded by armed men assumed to be military. We were told to return to our homes. Those who didn’t were shot down where they stood.

???: We didn’t know how to respond. People panicked. Anyone who tried to get outside the town limits ended up with the same fate. We were locked in. Quarantined. Our anxiety grew higher and higher until one day, it all exploded.

???: No one knows how it started exactly, but the town began to fight amongst itself. Neighbors killing neighbors. Buildings burned, homes and stores looted, gunfire rang heavy in the air along with screams of terror. It felt like the apocalypse.

???: This event would be forever known as The Cull. Our entire way of life changed that day forever. There was no society any more. As far as we knew, the entire rest of America was the same. We had no way of getting out even by technological means. All electricity supplied to the town was cut off right before The Cull, no doubt from those military bastards locking us in here.

???: That was, until The Phoenixes appeared.

???:  The Phoenixes were the first group to appear. They were the new order, the new form of governmental control led by the people. Their founder was Wendy Testaburger. They dedicated themselves to helping those affected by The Cull and protecting the weak. They vowed to help return South Park to normal. The Phoenixes brought back electricity in some places, and now everyone wants it, especially other gangs.

???: The main three being the Cattleboys, Hunters, and The Queens. They were at least the ones who grew beyond four or five people. Who knows what all is out there hiding in the dark cracks of South Park. If you’re not a gang member, you’re a Survivor. 

IKE: and that’s what I am. I’m a survivor. Now that electricity and the internet is back, I can finally get this news out. Hopefully. If anyone can even see this, for the love of God, tell me what’s happening out there because I sure as hell don’t know.

IKE: Please.

Where We’ve Been

Hey guys, I want to thank those who have been subscribing to this story and want to apologize for the hiatus. This comic is not abandoned and will continue as planned, but I just need some time. 

I put this on hiatus bc of the pandemic completely changing my life and everyone else’s. Then came rioting in my city. Then came heartbreak and a complete mental break down. 

AP felt too much like reality as I tried to keep working on the scripts. I needed to back away from it for a bit and also distance myself from what this ship and this comic meant to me. I needed to re-evaluate my life and my life choices. 

AP is solely just me now, writing, drawing, proof reading, etc. and it’s a lot of work. It’s work I’m happy to do, but god it’s so much work for one person. I’ve been trying to do some happy, self-indulgent art for another fandom lately to keep me sane and help me cope with my life situations. 

I love Anarchy Park and South Park. This story will continue and I am determined to see it to the end.

I just need time.

AP Discord Server Idea

So, as we’re all aware life is fucked up right now. Shit is going down and some of what i’ve been putting into AP feels a little real now. (such as the isolation for safety. Stan knows it too well)

I put this blog on hiatus for a few reasons

1. Because of this pandemic and my household dealing with it

2. To properly finish the next two updates without worry

3. Because my college is now online and I have more to deal with at home and don’t have proper class working times anymore.

That being said, Stan and Kyle would like to invite you to a potential idea:

Currently it is not made because we’d like to know if there is any interest first. I dont want make something people have no interest in. If this server went live it would include

1. Talking to Danny, creator and artist of this comic!

2. Getting behind the scenes wips and sneak peeks!

3. Being able to ask Stan and Kyle questions regarding the comic in real time chatting

4. Art streams of AP work and of dan’s college work/personal work

IKE: Well, not getting blood in my hair definitely keeps it much cleaner and nicer. You should try it some time, Kyle.

KYLE: I feel so attacked right now.

IKE: I’m thirteen, and Kyle and Stan are twenty. Although sometimes I think I’m older than them.

KYLE: I’m sensing a lot of hostility towards us. 

IKE: What? You wanted me to answer questions on your stupid blog, so I’m answering! 

STAN: Okay, okay. Both of you relax. How about I take over the questions? Ike, go get ready to go and Kyle go to bed already.

KYLE: After I eat.

STAN: Yes, after you eat.

STAN: Mica and Murphy are me and Kyle’s dogs! Mica is my dog and Murphy is Kyle’s dog. Although, they act like we both own them together since we would hang out so much. 

STAN: I tend to stay at home at night so I can sleep and protect Ike. Also, I don’t care for doing the things Kyle has to do at night to keep us safe. Hurting people really isn’t my thing unless I need to keep me or those in my care safe.

STAN: Yo no hablo español bien. Aprendí poco en la secundaria.

STAN: Oh and um, well, yes it’s been a little colder lately even though it’s summer. Although, I just, uh, I don’t want to talk about that really. Thank you for calling me cute though.

IKE: Stan, I’m ready to head out. 

STAN: Kyle! We’re heading out! 

KYLE: You didn’t eat breakfast!

IKE: We’ll eat when we get back! Just go to bed already.

KYLE: Fine, be safe! Remember, keep out of the east end!

For the most part, yeah. Sometimes I have some proof reading/continuity checks from @charlie-sargent along with bouncing ideas off her which is MEGA helpful, but right now the writing and art is all done by me which is why it takes time to update since I’m currently in school for animation while i do this on the side as a hobby

STAN: I think that’s very productive given our situation.

IKE: I’m pretty good as one could be in this hell hole of a town. I’m stuck in Stan’s house with my brother and two dogs. Also considering all our friends are basically untrusting nut jobs who shoot on sight now, and my brother still has PTSD from-

KYLE: I saved breakfast! Not a noodle was burned! Okay, a few were, but i scooped them out and it was fine. Now, come get your breakfast-

I’m working on the next update to anarchy park and ive decide the style will slowly change to my normal work instead of the “chibi SP style” i was using. I’ve gotten faster in my own style because of animating so its actually faster? so update will be very soon

Hello friends! Ur mod/writer danny here!

I literally am so swamped with animation homework from college I dont have time to work on anarchy park. The good news about this however is that i want to add more animation into this comic. Always have. It’ll be slowed down for now between college and actually having a part time job, so i’m so sorry but please hang with me.
