Figure out what you want to do with your life and just do it. Dedicate a separate journal for you to write down all of your goals and detailed steps towards achieving them. Stopping sitting around and half arsing your way through things because you can’t seem to find any direction, because seriously guys, life is what you make it and sometimes you need to get up and force yourself to do the things you know will benefit future you. Things like I’m Still Young or I’m Too Old are out of the question, no matter how old you are, what you study or where you study, use the time you have right now to hustle. I mean really hustle.  Because you don’t want to look back and say you should’ve worked harder, trained harder, tried harder, thought harder, fought harder. Don’t give yourself a reason to have regrets later on in life.

I'm a little late to the party, but..
I’ve just found out that it’s the #NationalPoetryMonth ! How cool is that!
As a creative person, poetry has been a huge part of my life as long as I can remember. At some point this kind of self-expression became the main one in my life. I remember when I was 15 I started writing my own poems and it felt so exciting because it helped me to deal with my emotions and direct whatever feeling I have into art.
I got inspired by a lot of well-known poets. I loved literature classes at school because I could find out more about them and their poems. Then I became obsessed with modern poetry from unknown writers. I supported their blogs and I was spending hours reading poetry on their pages.
It may sound weird, but I don’t think I can name myself a poet, even though I think I am a good songwriter. I speak two languages and it currently feels like I suck at both of them haha. There’s not enough confidence in me to say that I am good at writing poetry because it feels like such a delicate thing. But there’s nothing that I love more than expressing my feelings through words and music, so I will continue to write.
Slowly, my love for poetry transformed into songwriting. Lyrics is one of the most important parts of the song. And up to this day, I pay a lot of attention to it. I love connecting the words that came straight from my heart with melodies that fit it perfectly. I think it will always be this way.
I’m currently working on a project and poetry is a big part of it. I want to share a couple of “poems” that I wrote a couple of months ago. I hope you like it and I will appreciate your feedback ✨

Staying home might be hard, but you can make it fun ☀️
Due to the recent events with the virus people all over the world have to stay home and it has been difficult to some of us. Most of times, I love being at home and I always can find something to do. I mean there hasn’t been a single second in my life when I just have nothing to do. I always need to work on music/study languages/improve my social media accounts. But all these self-isolation things make me feel so anxious that I just can’t be as productive as I’d like to be. I worry about my family and friends, I worry about the world and our future. Things are blurry now and I can’t see where I’m heading.
To feel better again, I usually do this: I focus on self-care, take my antidepressants, maditate and read more books than ever. Let myself watch movies and play videogames because they are a good distraction from the real world. I don’t let myself do this 24/7 because it will make me even more depressed, but I don’t let myself work too hard either. Balancing things like these is the key to a better mental health and I’m glad that I figured it out.
What else to do when you’re bored:
1. Make up a list of all your goals and things you’d like to try this year
2. Clean up your room and try to change something in it
3. Write a list of all the movies you always wanted to watch and start binge watching them (I will share my list with you in the next post)
4. Watch a documentary about environment problems/modern society
5. Cook something interesting
6. Read a book
7. Remember the hobby you’ve forgotten about because you were busy? It’s time to come back to it
8. FaceTime your friends
9. Discover new music/bands
10. Write down your thoughts about your feelings and what bothers you/makes you happier

thinking out loud, part 1.
Hi there, wonderful people.
I'm Ana and this is the blog where I'm going to share my thoughts about a lot of things. I'm not sure why I started it and what exactly I want the posts to be about, but I really want to have a place where I can post whatever I want whenever I want. It's like an online diary.
I am currently 19 years old, I'm working on two big music projects and trying to figure out how to live this life.
I realized that I'm not handling my emotions well. I'm always mad deep inside and I do everything to not harm the ones who surround me with all the fire that I keep inside. But at times it hurts and destroys me so I need to take it out of me. Usually I do it through writing and singing. And maybe I can use this page to openly talk about what makes me feel better/worse about particular things.
Later on I'm going to talk more about the projects I'm working on. I'm going to talk about how it feels to try to reach for something when it feels absolutely unreachable. I'm going to post about music, films and books that inspire me and hopefully will inspire you too. I will try to make this page as comfortable as possible. It will feel like home.
I don't promise to post things every day, but I will do it whenever I have something to say. And I have a lot going on in my mind so I think I will post often.
Anyways, have a nice day and don't forget to follow me to see new posts 💫
