god i am unwell thinking about james nursing his parents on their deathbeds while a war is happening outside.

fleamont staring up at his strong, righteous, brilliant little boy who had grown into a man, knowing he’s too weak to be able to convince james not to fight. hating himself because if he was only well enough, then he could fight alongside james, or even in his place.

effie crying every day from guilt, and telling herself to just die already. falling into a depression because she can see the exhaustion in james’ eyes as he stays up to put a cool cloth to her head, the fear every time she coughs a little too long, the agony that she’s putting him through by teetering on the edge like this. every morning she wakes up is another where she wishes she hadn’t because the first thing she sees when she wakes are those big, brown, expressive eyes, just like hers. but filled to the brim with desperate relief.

Someone on here, idk who i just saw a screenshot, was basically bashing Lily mother fucking Evans over not forgiving Snape for calling her the equivalent of the n word. I'm sorry but if my friend called me a nigg*r, idc if it was out of anger or embarrassment. If I get called that by someone I consider a friend, I wouldn't listen to his fuck ass apologies either. Mudblood shouldn't have been in Snape's vocabulary if he really cared and loved Lily Evans but it was and it just goes to show that he was a racist piece of shit to everyone but the girl he "loved," until it came out in a "fit of anger."

Whew...now that I got that out of my system, let's continue showering Lily Evans in all the love she deserves ❤️

Socmed au part 5!!! (Part 4)

I have a lot to explain I KNOW. I’m sorry apparently I’m incapable of writing silly happy fun stuff, it’s the bane of my existence. im sorry about the twinyard fight!! I’m especially sorry that I didn’t move that plot along after the beginning, I have a couple scenes planned to progress that plot and make things happy again but I was just too exhausted to write it this week so I will absolutely include it in part 6!! Coming out who knows when!! I don’t know what happened to Kevin’s profile pic and I’m too tired to fix it so let’s assume Neil gave him a profile pic that was the exact shade of white as the header ig. Ummm I based Jeremy’s experience with homophobic fans off of real life things I’ve seen happen regarding queer people and pride in the sporting world, the hockey world mostly. I wanted to make it really really clear that I wasn’t trying to diminish the experience of queer WOMEN in sports by talking about the backlash men face, and I know there’s a lot of nuance to this debate that I didn’t address because I didn’t really know how to. Exy is a mainstream, very popular co-Ed sport, and it was hard for me to draw parallels between fan responses in real life to fan responses in a world where people just accept sports that aren’t segregated by gender. So yeah, if anyone has any problems with the way I addressed this I’m sorry, feel free to dm me if you have any concerns!

Finally!! I’m going to release a little half part (either 5.5 or 6.5) kind of doing some background and world building regarding where the main cast is in 2016, how they got there, and who else on the US court this year! So keep an eye out for that if u want more backstory!

what if your name was jannik sinner and you'd just reached your FIRST french open final without dropping a set. and u had to play ur biggest rival yet again while you were dressed like LUIGI and he looked like a CARTOON ZEBRA. and u had THREE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS but he came back from 2 sets down to beat you for the FIFTH TIME IN A ROW in a 5-and-a-half hour record-breaking match. and in his speech he said it was a privilege MAKING HISTORY with you and you looked the wettest and saddest you've ever looked in your life. wouldn't that be crazy

lily never threw away any of the notes james passed to her during classes, she kept them in a small, red box. but all of them were wrinkly due to her dramatic crushing of them in front of him; a regular yet dishonest show of hatred towards the boy whose name was scribbled on multiple pages of her journal, every time accompanied by red hearts beside it.

“Don't you think that honour should go to Lily?” Emmeline replied with a grin.

“Lily’s had her fun, now it's my turn.”

“I thought you and Potter got along well,” Dorcas asked thoughtfully. She had wrapped a thick curl around her finger and was rubbing it back and forth between two fingertips.

“We do,” said Marlene. “But it would be funny. Besides, I'm sure he would do something like that too.”

Dorcas sighed. “And I thought you were a responsible young woman.”

“This won't be the only disappointment in your life.”

“I'll just have to accept that.” The girl grinned mischievously. “Or I'll help you and throw something at him too.”
