I feel mildly threatened :D
Just that maybe Darlin' misses being patched up. Like properly patched up, like bandages, disinfectant spray, stitches, ointment and all.
Like the way their parents used to do after they got into a scrap at school because "healing magic is a privilege and you shouldn't get used to it".
Like the way their unempowered friend used to do after they got into a bar fight because they didn't have another way.
Like the way Quinn used to do after everything because "I'm sorry, precious, I really am, I swear I'm trying, but I never was a healer so you have to bear with me for a little longer".
Because there is something close and special and personal about touching and working and not just "fixing" but instead trying to repair.
