in light of police across the country cracking down on pro palestine protests with brutal force, it feels like a great time to remind everyone to shut the fuck up around cops. don't make small talk, dont act friendly, don't fucking engage with them!! if you are arrested DO NOT speak without a lawyer present. protest organizers, get into contact with local pro bono lawyers who can be there for your arrested comrades. no matter what, if cops are there, shut the fuck up unless you are actively doing a protest chant. dont tell cops why you were there, dont tell them if you're affiliated with the school you may be protesting at, dont tell them if you came there with anyone, dont tell them anything!!!

The time is now. If you don’t know about urban warfare, there are plenty of military manuals online that goes over from a military’s mindset you can look at. Every part of the resistance is important so you can do whatever you feel comfortable in doing to keep the movement going.

Nearly got nabbed at UT Austin, but I did help a few students who were grabbed by the Feds cause I was in a throwing mood and threw sand and dirt in their face then I bounced like a basketball, still staying close to help out other people but not too close that they’ll catch me cause I called off of work to attend the protest and this job I have is a very strategic one that could help us get our message across super easy(I work for my hometown baseball team, the Houston Astros), and there are tons of people to hand out pro Palestine propaganda before during and after games.

I mean, is media and historical literacy even a thing anymore? Do people even pay attention cause this is like the Vietnam War all over again and this EASILY could’ve been avoided. Now, more than ever, do we gotta fight back

Would Suodiu be vegan? Its a chinese dish that takes rocks from water which have soaked up flavors of the fish in the water, and then cook with the rocks. So the flavor gets in with the food youre cooking, but you can also suck on the rocks. You dont chew them though of course.

But do you think that it can be a sustainable...something? Like i doubt there would just be rocks you can buy in the store, but do you think this is vegan? and i dont want to say "could it be changed" but like, could this help inspire other ways to flavor vegan food to taste more like seafood?

I'd never heard of this before, but looking into it, it seems to depend how it's obtained. If it's being fished out of the water and that's how it has it's 'flavour' then I'd argue that it is vegan, just as seaweed is, but removing rocks in any kind of large quantity from bodies of water is not going to be good for marine ecosystems.

If they're just taking rocks and stir frying them with fish, then using the flavour captured in those rocks then I'd argue it's not vegan in the same sense that rice fried in fish oil isn't vegan, despite the rice itself being plant-based.

As for flavouring plant-based foods to be more like seafood, we can already convincingly do this with seaweed, as I referenced a bit earlier. Seaweed gives food a very fishy taste for the exact same reason these rocks would, and that's why plant-based fish was nailed a long time ago and hasn't really needed to be improved since.

Now that the anger has calmed down, the desperation and sadness is creeping in. Imagine being so despised as a group of people that a simple law meant to make your life easier gets people so angry that an entire nation might break up over it. That's how hated we are. The English government would rather risk losing Scotland than allowing us our deserved rights. I feel like screaming and I'm sure you do too

But there is a good side to this. Look at how many people, not just in Scotland but all over the world, stand in solidarity with us. Look how many scots are ready to abandon the UK, partly for us. Look at how angry people are over this, not at us but for us

I don't think I've ever felt this desperate and hopeful at the same time
