Prostitution is legal in both Germany and the Netherlands and both countries are human trafficking hotspots, I really wonder why people that talk about „legalizing sex work“ don’t just to some research on countries in which it is legal. Also not sure about the Netherlands but in Germany only a small amount of sex „workers“ are even documented in the first place

having done both legal and illegal sex work i can assure you cops would laugh me out of the station if i ever tried to report violence i’ve experienced at my (legal) work.

German Petition for the Nordic Model – Please Sign if You Can!

Hey everyone,

There’s a petition in Germany advocating for the Nordic Model. Currently, prostitution is legalized in Germany, and the petition calls for a change to the Nordic Model. The petition was initiated by Netzwerk Ella, a survivor-led initiative advocating for the abolition of prostitution.

If you have German citizenship or live in Germany, please consider signing the petition! It needs at least 30,000 signatures to be debated in the Bundestag (the German Parliament).

I used to find labels of putting “because they put us into boxes and are restricting” but now I realize that I was just always using the wrong labels and that I was trying to please everyone by being attracted to as many people as possible.

I have been switching between using bi an lesbian for a few years now, in reality I was always a lesbian but I always felt like I had to make myself like men in real life but also in fandom spaces because of people calling me a “fake fan” for not being attracted to a male character, but also to “not exclude people” and “be more open minded”. By doing that I was just harming myself long term.

Now where I realized that I’m a lesbian and people tell me that “sexuality is fluid” which has just become a leftist way of saying “you haven’t found the right man yet” and that I still have to attract to dicks (trans women) and people with male bodies (trans women pre-transition and transitioning trans men) even tho I have never been attracted to that. But hey it’s my job to always validate everyone?

Everyone is telling me that genital preference means that you prefer “one over the other” and while that’s might be true for some people others can feel no attraction to one genitalia. An other argument that is often used is that “you are reducing people to their genitalia” but I’m not because in a friendship I don’t really care about your genitalia because we are friends, we are not going to have sex. In a relationship the topic of intimacy would come up sooner or later and then genitalia does play a role. Why would I date you if we would then get into a fight over intimacy because I’m not attracted to you in that way? Isn’t it smarter to then just not date you to begin with?

And before someone brings up the flag in my pfp , why is everyone allowed to have a flag that symbolizes their sexuality accurately but me?

Last week at school two students (one girl and one boy, both are 18 or 19) were talking about how my children they want in the future, after talking for a while they turned around to me and two of my friends asking us how many children we want.

One of my friends said that she doesn’t think about children she wants rn because she is literally only 18 and they if she wants to have children she is going to adopt a child when she is in her 30s.

In reality she is infertile

Can we please stop asking women and girls if they want children and judge them if they say no?
