Humid and muggy day when we visited the Forbidden City in #Beijing. It downpoured soon after we got in and we watched as people ran from one building to the next trying to find dry space. The attraction was filled with hundreds and thousands of people but once the rain started it cleared the grounds completely. Jungle hiking in #Penang Hot, humid and incessantly sweating, we didn't mind when it started raining. The rain had a plesant cooling effect but it soon turned into a monsoon downpour with thunder bangs in the distance. The muddy route out transformed into gushing rivers and waterfalls. Like windscreen wipers, I had to keep wiping the rain from my eyes as the hard rain made it difficult to see ahead.
