Almost ready!
I am super excited to show you all the bags that I have been working on. I wanted to at least give you a sneak peek of the finishing touches on one of them. So far, this project has been super fun, and I love the stitches that are used for it.
Thank you again for sticking around and for the engagement. Please know that the comments I have already received and the amount of support from friends are truly appreciated!

Getting Started
One of the most daunting things is attempting to step outside your comfort zone to try new things. As I begin this journey, it is difficult not to compare myself to those who have been doing this a lot longer. However, in doing this, not only do I aim to learn new skills and crafts, but also to gain confidence in my work.
Currently, I am building up my inventory as well as deciding what will be posted next from my major closet cleanout.
I thank all of you who have taken a moment to give my small account a chance, even with just one post. I am waiting until this weekend to take more images and share them with you all.
I appreciate the engagement that I have received so far, and thank you again for starting this journey with me! #crochet

Update - Midterms Dun Dun Duuuun
I had my midterms last week for my animation class and digital imaging class, and surprisingly, I did fabulously on them. For my 3D class, I got a 71 out of 72, and for my digital one, I received a 27 out of 30. I am quite proud of myself for this, considering I had failed both of these classes last year, and I feel that pushing myself is paying off.
I have found that I am reaching another low period and hope to take it easy and study. My goal is to clean my home before then so that when I reach a peak during this low period, it will be easier on my mentality. Am I planning this? Kind of, but only because this is what I have done to cope with it and hopefully bounce back as energetically as usual. Until then, I thank you all for waiting for me, and I will continue to post as often as I can.
Oh, before I forget! Thank you to my new followers; this means a lot to me and tells me I am heading in the right direction with this blogging thing. I hope to give you more fun topics and content later and share with you more of the skills that I am able to demonstrate. Until then, thank you for interacting with me and checking out my tiny corner of the internet!

Here's a Thought - A Busy Weekend
So in an effort to understand what my city does and does not accept as recycles, I decided instead of doing research online, that I go and volunteer my time at the recycling center! It was so much fun and I hope to have the time to do it again (Depending how tired I am after work and if i have a bunch of homework to do) but I was able to get some books that were recycled as well. One of them being a book, published in 2004 called the Sociopath Next Door by Marthat Stoiut, Ph. D. So far it is interesting and puts yourself in a different perspective regarding the normality of thought patterns. I will talk more about it as I continue to read, however as the date suggest, it is a bit outdated as the current understanding of Sociopathy.
Secondly, I decided it was a time to put some type of image for my profile and background so I used some pixel art that I created last year. I think I'm going to do somemore and perhaps put them on my future shop as prints to purchase. Here are what these two look like. One was for my Digital imaging class and the other was something that I made for a potential game I wanted to create with small book store puzzles, that had a cafe in it.
Otherwise, this week was a busy one and I enjoyed the productivity of it. I hope next week to show you more crochet projects as I have continued to work on them.

Game Review - Loser Named Hana by Eros
I was recommended an indie game from my friend and I would like to say although it was short, I quiet enjoyed playing it. The Game is called "Loser named Hana" Created by Eros using the Ren'oy game engine. The premise is the player finding a flyer for an advertisement from the character Hana, who wants a friend. Within you are give choices on how you would approach the situation and in meeting the character.
I would say, my favorite part about the game was Eros's Voice acting within it, as they acted as Hana. I genuinely found the voice of Hana adorable although Hana did not like her voice. It was a nice change from the usual games I played and I followed the creator to get more updates and other games.
I recommend playing it yourself and giving it a shot, it is free to play on itch.io

Here's a Thought - Motivation!
I have been making great progress on the crochet and loom projects I have started and am very motivated to continue. I am a bit afraid of losing my motivation, but as of right now, I am feeling very inspired.' I have been making great progress on the crochet and loom projects I have started and am very motivated to continue. I am a bit afraid of losing my motivation, but as of right now, I am feeling very inspired.
I tend to go through a cycle where I feel motivated for two months, then lose interest before eventually trying to return to it. However, it is nice that I am going through the steps and making an effort to proceed.
I have signed up for a group that informs me about craft shows in my state. I am planning to create enough products and do sufficient research for either a December show or a spring one.
Before doing so, I want to get my website set up and conduct a bit more research before taking any further steps. I would also like to attempt to create small vlog videos, but because I am so shy, I find it difficult to do so. Right now, I am trying to take more pictures and make small videos; however, I find myself feeling anxious about it. Nonetheless, I will attempt it at my own pace!
Small steps at a time!

Here's a Thought - Exhausted....
With midterms coming up and some other work stresses, I'm surprised I'm not all that anxious about the coming days. In fact, despite the title of this thought, I feel like I got it!
What I am exhausted about is the road trip I had to take to get my car. My father was putting brakes on it for me (and I am thankful for both him and my mother), and I had to go get it. I was using his car, so I was just switching it back. On the way, I did stop to get some pears for my mother and saw some yarn I would like to try to make a sock project with. I will attempt to take more pictures of me within the store buying it, instead of seeing the aftermath on my bed, but here is the yarn that I ended up purchasing. One day, I will be able to get the fancy yarn like the other creators can, but I am happy where I am now and will aim to get better.
Oh, here is also a really cool sunset I captured on the way home!

Small Thought - Home Again
I was unexpectedly out of town for a few days. (Went out of town to see my mother) and when I got home, They would not leave me be. This was my attempt at making thigh highs and watching youtube. At lease, they didn't block the yarn from me....

Thoughts For Today - Trust the Process
Good morning,
Today, I was doing some reflections and in the midst of feeling as though I was going to fall backwards into my new way of thinking, I decided to listen to a podcast from my favorite creator.
It was called "Trust the Process," which is something I find I need to remind myself of and practice right now. Unfortunately, I tend to fall into a perfectionist mindset where I want everything to happen quickly and forget to enjoy the process for what it is. At the moment, my goals and ambitions are my health and this small business I have started for myself. Regarding the little shop I am beginning, I do not want to rush it or focus solely on numbers. Instead, I want to shift my mindset from "Lose weight" and "Has the scale gone down" to "Enjoy the process" and "Wake up feeling good about your body in whatever state it is in."
This is difficult for me, but I am finding that with practice and a bit of confidence in myself, it is becoming easier.
Although I do not have an audience yet to share my thoughts with, I hope that one day someone can read this and feel a bit better about themselves and the journey they are on.

I just wanted to start by introducing myself. I'm sasha and this will be a journey about my life and how I'm attempting to begin a small art business. I feel it would be appropriate to start with what I have with the knowledge I have and day by day show my progression.
As I am both and introvert and a perfectionist, this is important for me to let go of my doubts and just do it. I have transformed it to something that is more about my beginnings and stopped comparing myself to others.
I hope to make friends on this journey and see where it leads me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
