Saw someone earlier asking (i think?) why Tiresias was being twinkified here and didn't get to reblog it, so if said person/ someone wondering the same thing sees this:

The people "twinkifieing" him (i too am guilty of this) are epic the musical fans, because the voice of Tiresias in said musical is a young man, so naturally, when people draw him with the musical in mind, he ends up looking way younger than he is. (And don't worry, we are aware he is an old man)

now that the ithaca saga is out i'd like to just put it out there that, in the original text, after they reunite odysseus and penelope immediately run off to fuck - obviously (20 years at sea away from your wife call that the wettest dry spell mankind's ever seen). BUT while they're getting all hot and heavy, athena decides to put her owl motif to good use and wingman for odysseus by quite literally holding off the dawn until they're fully satisfied (od. 23.345-248). which is just. what a way to end off one of the greatest pieces of storytelling in human history

unfortunately, the final Epic livestream getting cancelled because the cast decided to go to Ithaca together only to face nonstop disasters including a crazy bad storm is the funniest possible way this could have ended
