Y'all!! I liked this The Flatshare by @betholearyauthor when I first read it as an ARC. I fell deeper in love when I re-read it after it published. Tell me about some of the unsung heroes of books that you have read lately. Those books that you feel people just haven't heard enough about or that you think are great but you don't see people talking about that much. For me, one such book is Yes, and I Love You by @roniloren. This was an unexpectedly excellent read. I mean... I expected to enjoy it, but it definitely reached me on a deeper level than I ever thought would happen. I adored the theater/improv side of the story. I adore books that make me think. Books that delve so much deeper than I expected them to. Act Your Age, Eve Brown by @taliahibbert is the latest read to do that for me. This whole series is excellent, but Eve Brown is my favorite of the three. These characters are so unique and often unlikeable, but at the heart, they are so pure and lovely. This book helped me examine the way I view my children (3 boys) and how very different they are from each other, but no less deserving of my faith and trust. One that I wish I could check out is not actually real. The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon introduces us to Shay Goldstein and Dominic Yun who were supposedly ex's who were now doing a relationship radio show. The problem wasn't just that they had never dated, they could barely stand each other. This was your classic enemies-to-lovers romance with a little workplace misogyny to keeps things interesting. I really loved The Ex Talk.
