John Thomas Memorial Hospital

Back again after a long hiatus... with a sneak preview of John Thomas Memorial Hospital. This is the primary hospital for the Arcadia Hills Save File that I'm working on. If you're new, I primarily play with families, and so kids are a big part of this save. I wanted to create a hospital that was realistic, that you could easily tell a story with, and that was kid-friendly. Still a big WIP, but it's coming along really well! Hope you guys like. It is very cc heavy. It will be fully functional for the doctor career and compatible with PandaSama's Childbirth Mod. Still working on exterior, medical lab, pharmacy, NICU, OB/GYN, physician offices, adult patient rooms, pediatric radiology, cafeteria, and whatever else I decide to add... debating adding a morgue in the basement, but we'll see.

Hey, Sims 4 creators! Thanks to reports over at EA Answers HQ (plus follow-up testing), I'm here to report to you that your CC televisions don't work with video game consoles after the December 3, 2024 patch. Please let me know if you update them!

Where do ya’ll get your (maxis match) textures from when making CC objects? Do you make them yourself? Is there a place you download them from? Do you just extract the EA textures?

Pediatric Emergency Room (WIP) as part of my pediatric clinic for my save file, Arcadia. If @syboubou ever does a "Hippocrate Reborn" set I will lose my mind... I NEED more medical cc that is maxis mix at best but leans more towards maxis match okay? i just need it.

if anything convinces me to start learning how to make cc, it'll be this and my eventual medical center build.

Festival "Atlas Weekend" | No CC

Atlas Weekend is one of the largest music festivals in Ukraine, which takes place annually in Kyiv, usually in July. It was first held in 2015 and quickly gained popularity among both Ukrainian and international visitors thanks to the variety of genres, from pop and rock to electronica and hip-hop.It was he who inspired me during construction ❤

Sooo this year for Spooky Day I wanted to go all out and create my very own set! 🎃 Just like most of us, my love for Simblreen knows no bounds so I wanted to try and turn it into something we can use to clutter up our sims' homes and get them ready for the spookiest night of the year.

My biggest inspiration for this set were vintage Halloween masks and decorations from the '90s, cryptids and a horror movie here and there.

The set consists of (from left to right):

Most of the textures were hand painted by me and the Bigfoot and Mothman cutouts were inspired by this artwork.

If you’re switching over to DX11, then you may need to update your cc. Check out a tutorial here. Be prepared to have to update cc whenever you put it in your game. Sometimes even recently made cc has needed an update. Whenever I cc shop now I put all the stuff I downloaded into a new folder, run in through the patcher, and then add it into my game. In my experience, the game wouldn’t load with unpatched cc in the game. I spoke about the process of switching over in this post.

Pine Creek Arcadia Hills is a small, northwestern town about 30 miles north of the nearest city. The people seem nice enough and there's a lot of young families starting to call this place home. The local elementary school is the best in the state, and folks insist that Deb's Bar and Grill has the best bacon cheeseburger you will ever have in your life. This town seems to have everything that singles, families, and elders could ever want, but there's a bit of a storm brewing over at the town hall - these families have been great for the local economy, sure, but this town hasn't really changed in the last 50 years. Modernization, renovations, and the tearing down of history have many of the life-long residents unhappy with the newcomers. Will this town maintain it's original glory, or will this small town become the next big city?

Note: This is a WIP save file that I am currently building. I play a lot with families, so this save file will be very family friendly, with lots of new families and activities everywhere. Unfortunately I play a very heavily modded game filled with cc, so I'm not sure I would release it unless at some point this save file blows up in popularity... lol.
