I'd like to headcanon that elder dragons are among the most ancient clades/groups of monsters that came from a time during extreme ecological turnover.

So in the past month or two there’s been a theory going around that elder dragons are the ancestors of all life, based entirely on like two throwaway sentences from a second gen artbook mentioning how it’s a hypothesis some scientists have in universe or something.

I personally think it’s stupid and has a ton of logistical issues, but I want to gauge how believable that is or to what extent might people believe it.

Nader @abdalsalam2000 is in Gaza during an internet blackout, he and his family are in serious danger and they can’t communicate it to the world because the internet is cut off and e-sims are very slow. He’s a 17 year old boy who is fundraising to support his family of eight, including his father who is sick with cancer and needs treatment.
