Harenochi Nyua is a laidback cloud baby who's mood affects the weather. When they're happy, it's sunny, when they're sad, it rains etc. They also love to doodle! If you see a rainbow in the sky it might have been Harenochi. Their birthday is June 1st. They love getting hugs and cotton candy. When they lose their crayons they cry.
Harenochi was made in the Next Kawaii Project, in which they came in fifth. I personally think they should have been higher but oh well. I found a tumblr post by HelloKittyisangel saying that 'Nyua is neither boy or girl and has said they hope to be both someday' but this is the only source I can find about Nyua's gender. I tried to Google Translate the character bio in the post, but it was mostly gibberish. So, I can't confirm or deny that Nyua is neither a boy or a girl. But they are a baby so... they are baby gender.
I looove this cute little cloud baby. They do kinda give me Cinnamoroll vibes with the whole cloud and sky theme. Maybe that's why they didn't place higher in the ranking.
If you're interested in Sanrio characters I would definitely recommend looking into the Next Kawaii Project. There's loads of stuff about how these characters are designed and conceptualised.
The winner was a character called Hanamaruobake. You've probably seen her, she's a ghost with a cherry on her head. So cute.
walkable infrastructure!!! Trains should connect everywhere!!! more accessible bus routes! more accessible public transportation!!! bike-specific paths! End automobile lobbying! bullet trains that connect rural areas to larger metropolitan areas!!! third places! community centers!! Human connection between age groups!
making stuff is weird because there's this sense of "Oh I don't have all the tools or experience needed to make this thing well" but you kinda just have to do it anyway because otherwise then you just Won't Make The Thing.
And maybe the thing won't be Great but it doesn't have to be. It just has to be Made.
this is so mean but sometimes i see published writing and suddenly no longer feel insecure about my own writing ability. like well okay that got published so im guessing i dont have much to worry about
