Vray Playground 3: Paper Towel Wonderland
The challenge with this one was the actual shader of the paper towel.
It ended up just being a simple Vray Mtl with layered procedural textures.
The paper towel themselves do not feel soft enough. This is partly due to the sharp nature of the models but it was a good experience.

Vray Playground 2: the RAZOR
This time around in maya, I didn’t use any lights.
The Razor had very reflective material shaders. Thus all the illumination were reflections of large planes I had in the scene.
The planes were setup like any traditional 3-point light system.
PS was used to bring out contrasts and some colors

Basically just played around in Vray and Photoshop and see what I can come up with.
The idea was inspired by a brochure I saw in IKEA.
The set was built in Maya.
