there's something i don't like about using the word 'valid' in conversations about queerness. 'valid' implies that someone or something has to be approved, and that there is someone doing the approving. i don't need approval from society or other queers to be what i am. you can't 'validate' my identity if i don't need to search for approval.

Can someone please explain to me the difference between libido and sexual attraction? I tend to have a problem with mixing them up or not understanding what they mean.

I have a problem understanding what 'attraction' means. Does it just mean being drawn to someone to do [___]? So, like, sexual attraction is being drawn to someone to have sex. It has nothing to do with libido. Thus, an asexual and an allosexual can have a libido. Despite only 1 being drawn to have sex with someone.

If it does mean what I think it means, then I don't feel sexual attraction as much as an allosexual person. For fictional characters or celebrities, I feel sexual attraction for them immediately. But when it comes to real-world people, it takes me a while to get to feel sexual attraction for them (I wouldn't say it's demisexual, but it's hard to explain). And when I do feel sexual attraction, it hits hard. I lust after the person, but it goes away very quickly before going back to feeling very little attraction towards them. Would this be a libido or ace spike?

All four variations of my interpretations of "The Lovers" tarot card. I wanted to be inclusive but I struggled to find a way to depict all sexualities and genders in one design. So I decided to make 4 variations. Obviously, there is an endless amount of gender and sexuality combinations that I could make but I ended up making 4 to symbolically represent the rainbow spectrum of love. The straight version is faithful to the original Rider-Waite Tarot card. The other three still reference the original card but with some pretty significant changes. I keep the metaphor of the Archangel watching over Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden but I made them much happier. I wanted the queer versions to have the lovers embracing and clearly happy living in paradise as opposed to the straight version which is much more chaotic.

My experience and my understanding is the fact that there are Many Lifetimes, and also, Many Groups, Many Phalanges of Maria Padilla / Padilha.

Different Souls, different Stories, different Experiences but all of them from the Same LINE, from the Same FIRE, from the Same ELEMENTAL Family which all had begun with the Soul / Spirit of the very first Maria Padilla / Padilha.

The 1st Trailer for Pedro Pascal & Ethan Hawke's Gay Cowboy Drama Is Finally Here!

We finally have the first official trailer for Strange Way of Life, Pedro Almodóvar’s gay Western movie starring Pedro Pascal (Silva) and Ethan Hawke (Sheriff Jake). As the story goes, this film is supposed to be Almodóvar’s response to once being attached to direct Brokeback Mountain but not having the same vision for it as the studio.

This new gay cowboy drama will also feature actors José Condessa, Manu Ríos, Jason Fernández, Sara Sálamo, Erenice Lohan, George Steane, and Pedro Casablanc. It will premiere in May 2023 at the Cannes Film Festival.
