Two Kind and Compassionate women…Or are they?

TheMightyNanto has commissioned me for this fun piece of Jun(Devilman Lady anime) and Unohana(Bleach) having tea together :D He thought that since Jun had been to Hell towards the end of the series that it made sense that she could possibly have become more spiritually aware enough to be able to see a Soul Reaper like Unohana who otherwise can't be normally seen by most people. Since Jun and Unohana share similar traits as in being kind and compassionate women but also have a darker side to them, Jun with her devilman side and Unohana with her past of being a bloody thirsty killer(she's become a healer now and is focused on that now) they could be good friends if they ever met. So the background of this picture is during Unohana's many journeys to the World of the Living she met Jun one day and was surprised that Jun was able to see her at all! I can imagine that Jun would be telling Unohana about the modeling world and Unohana telling Jun all about the spirit world while they sipped tea together :D

Many thanks to TheMightyNanto for commissioning me for this wholesome piece and I'm glad to have gotten the chance to draw Unohana after hearing so much about her, she sounds like an amazing character! It makes me excited to read the manga so I can see more of her! :D

Annddd here's the last one for today! And we end it off on a sweet picture of the Amon OVA version of Satan/Zennon in thier human forms, here Ryo/Satan is reassuring Zennon that he is always a part of his heart and thus he'll always love him the most. You can decide for yourself if Ryo/Satan is really willing to turn his back completely Akira or not but either Akira and humanity are kind of screwed! XD

A day in a park

I finally gotten around to making a little follow up to this picture https://www.deviantart.com/nk11/art/The-Warmth-of-Family-995903060 which is a part of the Happy AU, where demons and humans live in peace, and I thought it'd be nice to show the ot3 hanging out with the children Satan had with Zennon, since they are family too! Zennon is alive in this AU, he and Satan just agreed to separate and co-parent their three children, Akira and Miki are also involved in raising, Beel, Judas and Azazel as their step children but they love them as though they were their own flesh and blood. :3 I had a lot of fun making this piece even though it took a lot to make in terms of drawing so many characters in one piece, but I'm happy with how it turned out and honestly its nice to contrast it with the first picture since it shows how much I've grown these past few months.

We're here for you, now and forever…

I had made this when I had a rough day and needed some comfort, so I drew the Violence Jack version of my ot3, post VJ Akira and Miki are comforting Ryo/Satan while he's feeling guilty and regretful of everything that had taken place in the Hellish version of Kanto. He had only wanted to make up for his sins against humanity but when he accidently caused the Hellquake in Kanto, he had desired to be punished and that's when Zennon convinced Ryo/Satan to let him punish him, but of course Zennon was reborn as the Slum King and did more than punish Satan, but also caused so much harm to the people of Kanto with his armies. Despite it all being over now, Ryo/Satan still holds a lot of guilt for how Zennon/The Slum King turned out even though he had come to hate Zennon/The Slum King for what he had done to the humans of Kanto, Miki and Jack/Akira, a part of him misses how his former demon lover used to be. But he would never trade having Akira and Miki back for the world, even if its hard for him to believe that he even deserves their love.

Not just any lady

TheMightyNanto commissioned me for a piece of Jun based on this illustration on the figure box of her(the manga version from the looks of it)

This piece was really fun to make since there was a contrast between Jun's innocent look and the piles of demon skulls all around her and also it was great to draw Jun's muscles too! Many thanks to TheMightyNanto for commissioning me on this piece, it was a good challenge for me to draw this many skulls, it gave me the chance to look up how different animal skulls looked since a lot of demons in Devilman/Devilman Lady have animal or non human type skulls!

My Lord, you are safe, you are home

I always felt like when Ryo was made to remember that he was Satan by Psycho Jenny he didn't take it so easily, after all he had just been told that his entire life as Ryo Asuka was a complete lie and he was the leader of the very demons he and Akira were trying to stop. It would be an hell of adjustment period at the very least for him! And I'd imagine he'd likely break down in tears in both horror and relief that he wasn't going crazy the whole time after all! I can see Psycho Jenny being willing to comfort her overwhelmed lord to the best of her abilities. I thought I'd have a go at drawing the Amon OVA version of Jenny even though its one of my least favorite designs of her, I kind of mixed the Amon OVA design with her manga version a little to make it a little nicer. XD

The Morning Star

So I thought I'd do a drawing of Satan in the style of the original 70s Devilman manga, which has much more simplistic style on Satan's wings which was interesting to do given that I have mostly draw details on the wings whenever I draw Satan and Sirene, I think they turned out well but it still felt weird to do! XD btw this pose was kind of based on this statue of Satan

Their love was soft and tender once

I thought I'd make a soft Satan/Zennon piece for once since I had been neglecting drawing them recently and honestly these two give me so many feels, the way they were tender for each other and would do anything for each other makes me wanna cry! 😭😭😭Zennon in my verse had never known genuine love without strings attached or expectations before Satan came along, and Satan had never known love that wasn't a means of control before Zennon, but they were both beings that had never known true peace as their lives were filled with a constant need to fight for survival due to the war with heaven… the only peaceful moments they had were with each-other… But even that couldn't last forever… 😭😭😭

Archangel Michael

I thought I'd finally draw Archangel Michael who first appeared in the Devilman Lady manga, not much was shown about Michael aside from him being a willing lackey to God and manipulating events from behind the scenes and being the twin brother of Satan. But I thought it'd be fun to make my own version of Archangel Michael in how he relates to my Devilman fic (Love before its too late) since he will show up in the later chapters. Instead of the full golden armor he wore at the end of the DML manga, I thought I'd give the classic blue and red outfit Archangel Michael tends to have in the old paintings, since I felt like it showed his closer connection to humanity in my verse. Also in my verse Michael's and Satan's hair used to be longer and wavier like how Satan's hair was in Crybaby since it kind of reminds me of a Lion's mane, since in Gnosticism how the Demi Urge in has a Lion's head https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lion-faced_deity.jpg and Go Nagai was clearly inspired by Gnosticism when he made DML (maybe even as early as Devilman or VJ but that's another topic for another day lol) But in my verse when Lucifer turned against his father's orders to destroy the demons, he was captured and punished horribly and Michael cut off his wavy locks since he was jealous of how often his father would go on and on about his twin's beauty. For a brief time Michael became his father's new favorite until in the big battle that ended with the angels withdrawing and the demons winning, Satan got his revenge on Michael by cutting off his hair and scarring his twin's neck with his own flaming sword. Michael was blamed for the failed battle by God and was greatly humbled by the experience, vowing that the next time he fought Lucifer he would not be so cocky next time... that's all I'll say about Michael for now lol, there is more going on with him and you might be able to guess it if you listen to this playlist I made for Michael too cause again the brainrot was really strong XD

Bloody Kisses

So I saw this photo set of the final scene in Crash https://www.tumblr.com/missn11/746138878344347648/meietitoree-crash-1996-dir-david-cronenberg?source=share I haven't seen the movie but I have read about the plot on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crash_(1996_film) and well its a wild ass film about a couple who join a group of people who get sexually excited by car crashes XD but anyway that's not 100% what's going on in this pic here, I really liked the messy and kind of bloody sensuality of the last scene and felt inspired to make a picture of Ryo and Akira all bloodied up after a car accident(they are both fine no worries lol) and Ryo trying to soothe Akira's pain of the accident by kissing him. I had originally thought of adding Miki but I know she would be smacking Ryo for getting them into this car accident in the first so she had to be left out to keep to the unusual sensual scene the original had. XD

Two Bunny Lovers Meet

TheMightyNanto commissioned me to make this cute crossover picture of Akira from Devilman(the Devilman The Birth OVA version) and Rukia from Bleach with the cute bunny from the first Devilman OVA :D TheMightyNanto had been telling me that Rukia loves bunnies so much, just like Akira does and it was a shame that she never got to hold a living bunny but now in this crossover pic she has! Many thanks to TheMightyNanto for commissioning me for this really cute piece,, I had a lot of fun making it and it also gave me a chance to draw a character from Bleach! :D

The True Demon King

So I was listening to the Chaos theme of Shin Megami Tensei 2 and saw the image they were using for it was the two forms of Lucifer in that game and how much more demonic he ended up looking in his boss form. Which got me thinking about how in some depictions of Satan/Lucifer he looks very demonic i.e having horns, bat wings or hooves even though he was born as an angel, I get its meant to symbolism his fall from Heaven and all but it did make me think of the Devilman version of Satan and Zennon and how they are both different depictions of The Devil, one so beautiful and deceiving and the other more monstrous and frightening straight up. Also Satan and Zennon in canon are sort of merged together but not fully and it me thinking what would they look like if they fully merged together? So this is how this picture was born, and I have a headcanon that angels can't stay fully merged with an angel, demon or human for too long or they'll fall into a coma, so Satan and Zennon only merge together when they need to bring out the big guns for a fight, like when they fought against God and his angels! I had fun designing this merged form even though it was challenging at times to get some parts looking how I wanted it to look, and I made the horns look more like how Chirin from Ringing Bell, horns ended up looking like when he grew up

to symbolize Satan's and Zennon's inability to live in peace as all they can do in this form crave violence and war, and how they brought out the worse in each other at times in my verse at least when it comes to them being a couple.

The Convergence

I'm back with a big commission from TheMightyNanto! Also Happy Birthday to him too! 🥳🥳🥳 This is a poster for the second arc of his fanfic Devilman: The Rebirth https://www.deviantart.com/themightynanto/gallery/88903768/devilman-the-rebirth, the arc's name is The Convergence which shows how Akira's, Jun's, Sirene's and Kaim's destinies become intertwined with one another! I am excited to see what that arc has in store for everyone! But TheMightyNanto commissioned me to make a poster for the second arc in the style of the Devilman Lady anime's promos and thus we have two versions of this poster, the blue version and the red toned! This was a fun piece to make as I've always wanted to make a poster and this is my biggest piece so far at nearly 30MB! Casper CG Redraw

And here's my second Law of the Beast Redraw! This time it's of the dream CG Scarlett has of Casper hunting her through the woods, Casper is someone who Scarlett has a interesting to say the least relationship with, since he barely shows a lot of emotion its hard to tell what he is thinking or feeling and Scarlett on his path is both repulsed and yet drawn to him. Despite being a hunter and cold, Casper gives me the impression he does care more than he lets on but again we don't know yet and he is still a dangerous man and I'll be interested to learn more about him! But yeah here again I was playing with colour to highlight the nightmare atmosphere of the original CG and thought it would be better if Casper and Scarlett were actually looking at each other to really bring up the tension. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/541444241709334539/1221342963557339156/

Niall CG Redraw

I'm back with another League of Dreamers CG redraw :D This time I've made two CG redraws from the Law of the Beast book on the app, I've really enjoying playing Law of the Beast, the vibe is really creepy and the characters are mysterious and interesting, its been hard to choose which one will be my love interest for my Scarlett(The MC of Law of the Beast) but I think I'm going to pick Niall since I'm interested to learn more about his deal and also him being a big book reader and an artist and a shut-in is a mood XDD But yeah here in this CG Scarlett had gotten locked in the basement and got ambushed by Sean who had followed her in there to assault her and she sees him as a Rat monster until Niall who had overheard Sean planning to go after Scarlett and went to intervene, came into the basement and started choking Sean who became normal again in Scarlett's eyes. I really liked this CG but felt it was lacking some emotion in it and wanted to have a go at redrawing it, I had played around with the colours here since I wanted to focus on the intensity and manic feel of the original cg and and heighten the fear Scarlett had previously when she saw Sean(nasty Sean) as a Rat monster before Niall stepped in.

Miki's attack dogs

So this piece exists cause of a kind of inside joke I have some devilman friends of mine about how since I make Miki femdom Akira and Ryo and that her boys are so happy to serve her, that they are kind of her loyal dogs ready to protect her. And here someone unfortunate soul has really displeased Miki and now they have to deal with her attack dogs! :D Also a friend had linked to me this amazing dress and thought Miki would look good in it and I had to draw her in that for this picture! :D But yeah this was really fun to make as it gave me the chance to play around with angles and shading more and also I had been missing drawing my ot3 all together this time.
