You have been together for almost a year now. It seems a long time ago when Sirius finally confessed his love to you. You have always liked him, but you would never bring yourself into telling him. He was Sirius Black, every girl at Hogwarts liked him, and he was your friend, so you did not want to put that into risk.

You still remember how surprised you were when he showed up at the library, when you were studying and he asked if he could have a word with you. If you were not nervous about what’s coming, you would’ve laughed about the look on his face. Sirius was never known to be nervous or anxious about anything, everything seemed to be easy for him.

That day, he took you to a walk, and opened up to you, confessed to you everything, how he has fallen in love with you for what seemed like forever, how you did not take the hints and how desperate he was, how he thought you did not felt the same about him.

That day, when you for the first time kissed. It was dazzling, It was as though you’ve sunk into one of your dreams. But no, this was real, it is not a dream, Sirius Black is in love with you.

He was looking at you while you were having a conversation with your friend from a far. He thought of you, how much would he missed if he hadn’t been with you. It was astonishing the impact you had on him and his life. You were perfect. He thought. You never failed to make him happy. He never imagined his heart would be able to hold all this love between its folds.

He kept looking at you, as if he was studying your loveable features. Your beautiful eyes shining, your lips twitched into a soft smile, he found himself smiling too. How can one person make him feel all of this at once?

He loved you, You were the love he would never get over and he did not want to. You were the person he’d care about for the rest of his life. You brought light into his world, he wished he’d be able to explain to you how much you were for him. If heaven was ever a person, it would be you. If every beautiful dream came to life, It would be you.

You spent a long time together. He witnessed your happy and sad moments. He loved how your laughter would lighten up the place. He loved how with only a touch from you, he’d experience all the happiness in the world.

He memorized everything about you, how your eyes glitter when you talk about something you’re enthusiastic about. How your tone would turn low and quiet when something’s bothering you. How you avoid his gaze and turn your head away when you are on the verge of tears. Your smile that would calm storms and spread sunshine. He wanted to keep all these things inside his mind, as souvenirs.

A small memory arose out in his head, It was a beautiful night, a flurry of rain patterned against the large windows. You were sitting close to him, your head laying comfortably on his shoulder, when you said appreciatively “Thank you, for loving me as I am. Accepting the good and bad.” You can tell he was not expecting this. He looked at you gently “You can not be serious, can you? You are perfect, flawlessly unique. too good for me! There is nothing to thank me about. I Love you, more than anything. you should keep that in mind.” He said softly, his fingers running through your locks of hair.

Sometimes he’d even wonder if you are real. You were too perfect to be. And you loved him. He felt the luckiest human alive. He promised himself; he would always be there for you. He’d never allow you to be sad. He’ll always make sure you are ok.

You’ve raised your face and met his gaze, he must’ve been staring at you for a while now. Your smile widened and he felt his heart jumping. He walked towards you. Hold your hand. And stared closely into your deep y/e/c eyes. He allowed himself to drown in the waves of beauty formed in front of him.

How much he loved you. And how much you deserved it.
