Happy Ostara/Easter/belated Spring Equinox 😊🌸🌿 🐰🥚🍫! . ✨Valar and Valier series (late 2000s)✨ - 🌳🌿Yavanna Kementári🌿🌳 Initial practice sketch, the final painting and a couple of details. . I now prefer to headcanon Yavanna as dark-skinned, but I quite like how this watercolour turned out - especially the gradation of the different greens in the dress and mantle, and the trees in the background. I also love Alan Lee's original drawing on which this painting is based 🌿💚 (swipe for the comparison! Original is black and white, coloured by me as a guide for the painting). . Some years ago I started a 'Valar and Valier' project in which I took an existing painting/drawing as reference/inspiration to draw/paint one of the Valar. So far, I've done Varda, Yavanna, Nienna, Mandos and Aulë, and I also have some sketches of Nessa, Vána and Estë. "I've missed you so much, Angel" 🍎🥺 My Egyptian Crowley variation, inspired by @whiteleyfoster 's fantastic fancomic The Omens of Egypt (formerly Prince of Omens) 🍎🐍 . You never know when a childhood reenactment of an Egyptian Queen (Nefertari was my main inspiration for this costume) is gonna come in handy, and fortunately it mostly fits and looks quite similar to the second outfit that Egyptian Crowley wears in the comic 😁 I photoshopped the white into black, obviously xD I left the belt in red rather than gold, though, I think it contrasts quite well with the black and the red of the hair.

My first actual Loki cosplay shoot 😀✨🐍💚 (apart from some casual 2021 pics) was a (generic) Vintage Lady Loki closet cosplay (in October 2023), with an emerald green Summer dress that is quite reminiscent of 1930s slinky dresses. I also took some pics with another emerald green dress that I dubbed 'casual Asgardian fashion', and you can see that one in the selfies in this post (more to come of both!). This post features a couple of edits from this shoot, a selfie roll, and some casual test pics with just the make-up, lenses and wig (the hairline is still not customized, but I didn't need to do that yet because of the horns xD). . It was after the shoot that I realized that the green contact lenses that I had worn for the first time that day were actually two different colours o_O The left one is the emerald green that I had wanted, but for the right eye they sent me an aqua one 😅. Ah well, there's Photoshop, and the effect also looks kinda cool, I guess.

2023 in cosplay ✨🍎🍃! 2023 has been a bit of a "cosplay block" year in regards to working on unfinished and new projects, even though I did do cosplay stuff - I finally finished and did a couple of shoots with 2000s Crowley in the Summer 😎🍎 (which was a WIP since late 2019 lol), and also did a closet Lady Loki cosplay back in October 🐍🗡️🎆. Thanks to Good Omens S2 and me participating in 3 Good Omens collabs 🎉, I cosplayed a lot of Crowley this year, which is always good, including most of my versions (Eden/Ark, Golgotha, Medieval Fantasy, 15th Century Burgundian, 2000s Modern), and also did an initial short wig test for other modern Crowleys (hopefully for 2024). As for the (sparing) rest, I did do a 2nd Doctor shoot in February 💙💙🎶, and started working on Míriel Therinde for my closet cosplay Silmarillion women ♀✨ (also for 2024 xD). So here's for more cosplay in 2024, but also for enjoyment without stressing about it 😁👍✨! . . ➡️✨2024 cosplans?✨ Well, there's a lot of unfinished projects I'd love to finally work on more in 2024, so hopefully some will happen 😅👍 - Main ones are Modern 2010-2020s Crowley(s), and Sylvie (on standby since 2021-22). And I'd also love to finally do some shoots for Chase Arwen, Ted Nasmith dancing Lúthien, Legend of the Sea Devils Thirteen, an upgraded Elsa, and my upgraded 14th Century outfit. . ➡️Then there's my Silmarillion women series, starting with the "Finwean" Noldorin ladies, from Míriel Therinde, to Nerdanel, Anaire, Earwen and Indis. . ➡️Finally, for potential new projects, both Fourteen and God Loki are high on the list, and reenactment-wise, I'm strongly leaning towards the Italian Renaissance this year, I think. But we'll see xD
