I imagine Sloane start to wear gloves because she does not trust that her signet won’t hurt those around her. Dain done-cuddling-first-years Aetos is the first to notice. He is on a mission to take her gloves, even after she ran out and started stealing whoever’s were lying around. Naturally, everyone hides their gloves from Sloane now… and she is stuck gloveless.

They have flight maneuver and she almost loses a finger due to hypothermia and Dain yells at her in worry. He asks her where the fuck her gloves are…

This leads to him dragging her to his room to lend her some fucking gloves and her opening his armoire and a mountain of random gloves fall at their feet.

I've been curious—what are some of your favorite Sloane/Dain headcanons? I need to fill the void; I miss those two.

Today, I’d like to thank the Sorrengails for being all I can think about during storms… cause now it’s just like lmao no biggie I know what’s up here; it’s just our girlie Violet fighting with her mom or something.

Incandescent Rage Fanfiction

Canon until the Battle of Resson, the story picks up 5 years later.

After Violet loses consciousness in the battle, Andarna is the one who gets to her first and as the young dragon does not know of Aretia, she flies her rider back to Basgiath and falls straight away in her dreamless sleep. Everyone else is presumed dead including Xaden, Sgaeyl and Tairn.

I wrote the full outline for this story back in December while rereading RW and IF waiting for Onyx Storm... some of the new revelations in that book won't align in my story but heck, isn't that what fanfictions are for?

The first 4 chapters are up, I am typing up chapter 5 as we speak and I am having fun coming up with Epigraphs for every chapters XD

xaden’s power means he can see intentions, sometimes even before the person themself realizes what it is. the second before they do it or think it. and he said usually the thoughts come in pictures.

I really don't understand how "without getting kudos or comments a fanfiction author is going to assume that people who clicked their fic didn't like it" became a controversial take.

I don't know why some people think an author should imagine, or guess that people who click their fic enjoyed it it when nobody is telling them that.

If you're re-reading a fic constantly, or leaving it up in your tab so that it re-loads every day for a hundred days the author is not going to know that unless you tell them. They'd love to hear it. It would make their day.

And if you don't tell them you liked their fic, there's no reason for them to assume you did.
