So like, it’s complicated LOL I’ve never really been able to pin down who can and who can’t be turned in to a frostbitten?

Definite yes: Humans, Frankenstein’s Monsters, uhhhh???

Maybe: Werewolves?

Definite no: Demons, Vampires, Zombies, Elves

A creature not being able to be turned in to a Frostbitten doesn’t mean they can’t hybridize of course.

It really comes down to two things:

1. Do they have a beating heart?

This is an easy one, Vampires and Zombies are already dead, Frostbitten need to begin in a living body

2. Are they mainly creatures of science as opposed to magic?

Werewolves are a maybe because despite having magical influence in some way they’re mainly biological, pheromone and instinct driven beings.

Compare this to Demons and Christmas elves who originate entirely from Hell and are bound solely by the rules of magic

Tl;dr it’s a case to case basis

What's it like to have a snowbaby?

The baby is just a little pile of snow when it’s pushed out, it’s very easy to give birth to a Snowperson baby…if you’re a winterbeing I mean lol

Whoever is assisting will push and collect the baby together to help it along but they form their bodies within seconds on their own, a bit like how some animals can run immediately after they’re born! Raising them is the hard part tbh, especially if you have a frostbitten baby as well, it takes them some time to realize that frostbitten are their equals not food. What are some of the Frost kid's favorite parts of the human body to eat?

I decided to push myself by using a randomizer to pick the kid for me!

I wanted to answer for James first though because I don't talk about this much but he doesn't actually enjoy chopping people up, well he does enjoy doing that but it's not his preferred method of eating.

He digests people whole slowly like a snake. It's a bit like being melted in acid over an hour plus but it's also unnaturally freezing in there.

Brains, like the trope of characters canibalizing a specific body part for "its power." Though with her I imagine it's also of a mental exercise itself, savouring the texure of the wrinkles on her tongue, seeing if she can gleam anything from the experience. I'd like to think that to her the brains of people she's used her power on have a better flavor since the thoughts and emotions she froze burst to life one last time before they're consumed.

The ribs and she does it the same way people do! Covered in so much, way too much sauce. It's very barbque dad core! A close second for her is the skin, it's crispy and portable snack while she's out keeping watch for the animals that live near the North Pole, plus the reindeer are carnivorous little fuckers. It helps them bond.

This is one of my favorite answers because of how messed up the reason behind it is. Juno loves a good eyeball. It's a measly little morsel but its a signature of their special "movies." To signal each victims closing curtain they lift up their mask, snake their tongue past the eyeball into each socket, and sucks the eyes right out of said persons skull before they suck out the last of their life.

I was watching a TikTok about placenta delivery and it reminded me of how some women eat their placenta

I thought it would make sense and be sweet if frostbitten women saved their placenta so it would be their babies first solid flesh meal when they weaned off of blood

Suzy overeats a LOT, frostbitten are ravenous so they often keep eating long past being full. This usually leads to her throwing up which she happily laps right back up!

2. I've mentioned this before but Snowpeople will use their long tongues to um...get their food back if a Frostbitten steals their kill, whether agressively or their partner playfully taking a bite.

3. Winterbeings smell really really bad the moment they come close to even slightly melting levels of heat. Ice absorbs odors and they're surrounded with the stench of death and all the things that happen around corpses. There are probably Winterbeings out there who can make you pass out by breathing in your face like a fucking cartoon.

It's no secret by now that Jane eventually ends up needing a wheelchair but I struggled with designing one that would be accessible for a snowperson's environment.

That is until-

She would have snow poles of course but this also allows Juniper to push her around AND for her to be Juniper's eyes in a way
