((I hope that you'd all understand my reasoning. My grandma has apparently been diagnosed with Lymphoma and Hepatitis C and my grandpa has dementia, not to mention my other grandma got in a car accident recently, so I think I might just leave this blog inactive... permanently. I will leave the ask box open for ten minutes at the most so you can all say your goodbyes. Please keep in mind that none of you had anything to do with me leaving, it was nobody's fault. It feels like I’m putting on a show but nobody’s there to admire the hours I put in to making the show to start with. I have 200+ followers, which I never expected, but I never get asks. I’m starting to think I should draw the asker in the asks for more asks, but I don’t want people to think I’m giving them free art. I get excited when I see an ask, but it turns out to be an ask I’ve already answered. It’s pushing me to the breaking point, and I never thought I would even bend to begin with.

Yes, I understand that blogs are just trying to be friendly by sending a simple “hello” ask. However, receiving “hello” asks irritates me because I find it hard to advance plot or character development with just a simple greeting. It would help if you could ask another question with “hello”, but otherwise, I hate answering “hello” asks; in fact, unless I find the ask actually interesting, it’s almost guaranteed I’ll respond with a reaction image and text.

LISTEN UP! A MESSAGE FOR THE COMMUNITY!

I think I have noticed this as well as everybody else, the community hasn’t been itself since around latimer. And honestly I don’t like it, no doubt, the community has saved my life but I think we need to bring the community back to a whole.

Story time! A long time ago the poke ask community was absolutely wonderful! I mean EVERY SINGLE person interacted, everybody was friends, everybody’s characters were friends. Then one day something just happened, nobody really could put a pinpoint on it but the community did this thing where it broke it little tiny branches. Only a few people interacted with each other and they only worried about strengthening the relationships they already had not starting new ones. I have seen so many people point this out but nobody has actually tried to fix this. So I will.

~ THE POKASK REUNION!!! ~

The pokask reunion is going to be a month long event starting june 1st to july 1st, the main goal for this event is to interact with as many blogs as possible! You can attend the event for only a week, only a day, a hour, the whole month, it doesn’t matter, let’s just make the family whole again! This event is a replica of Latimer beach party!

Place: a large ocean off of Kalos, humans are rarely found there yet there is a incredible amount of pokemon there. There is a vendor’s building on the coast where anybody can make a stand and sell merchandise, sell food, play games, or have contests! There is a basket ball court and a volley ball court near the water where anybody can play and have a good time! There is a park a little further from the shore perfect so little ones can play without getting in the water without super vision! lots of sand to build sand castles and tiny islands in the water with hidden prizes. -multiple basket ball and volley ball games!

What characters should dress in: The party will be anthro or domestic, which ever you choose to draw your character. They can wear anything from swimsuits to dress to pajamas but try to stay within the theme of the event which is Hawaii!

Hey I was curious about something ;; when it comes to your anatomy, do you sketch out shapes before you start doing your lineart or do you do it completely without any guiding sketch lines? I am learning anatomy of stuff and I was curious if I could get your advice ^^ thank you, my dear Freund!

I spend a lot of time on the sketch, actually. Although sometimes I just forgo the line of action ‘cause I already have a pose in my head. 

Still, I do start with basic shapes. Then I flesh out the sketch with more details before finally lining and coloring it!
