That may be true, but what the Warblers don't have and what any of the other show choirs don't have is a Marley Rose. I may not be a lot of things but I can sing.

You know I don't beg.

The New Directions are brand new to the world of show choir. The Warblers are National champions. For several years consecutively. If we're looking at this realistically, New Directions don't stand a chance.

Maybe we can figure out a way to mix that in in the future. I think adding the edge and really playing to everyone's strengths will be a great thing. We should definitely find ways to stand out.

Yeah I like them, I think we have a good chance. Well I'll never say no to more pop punk or punk rock. Green Day, All Time Low, Blink 182 etc. I think it could give us an edge and make us stand out more from the average show choir doing show tunes and polished boyband harmonies.

I know so. But I agree it'll also be nice to let your hair rest and heal. I definitely recommend keeping up with some hair treatments to mend any that may have been damaged in all the bleaching. While there is certainly nothing wrong with the buzzed or bleached look, I do believe that the shaggy brunette suits your face.

You think!? Awe you're gonna make me blush! I'm not sure what color hair I have makes me happy or not happy, but it will be a nice change not having to bleach it so much, I was starting to worry i'd like.. lose my hair or something and bald just AIN'T it.

I think I'd put that energy towards a Sectionals or Nationals situation, but I know it's something that I can do. New Directions is looking incredible. Definitely first place worthy. It'll be an honor to probably just steal with win from the Troubletones.

Not to mention you'd have to write something that not only resonated with both your glee club and the audience, but is also high energy. Seems like a pain and honestly I wouldn't fault you if you wouldn't want that kind of pressure. Oh so excited, the Troubletones have curated such an incredible setlist I doubt there will be a single person sitting during our performance. What about you? How is the New Directions looking? Second place worthy?

I don't mean to boast, but New Directions has some of the best vocalists in the game. While we may be considered the underdogs we are certainly going to be a favorite with our impeccable talent.

I'm sure they'd all love to hear them. It's like a secret weapon. I don't think the Troubletones or the Warblers are writing their own songs! And thanks, Marls. I think I just need to stop overthinking and just get the performance done with. I'll psych myself out otherwise.

Hell yeah we are. The others aren't going to know what hit them.

If anything I would just perform them possibly for anyone who wants to privately listen. I'm no Taylor Swift, so it's a little embarrassing sometimes. Nerves are so normal, Dottie! But I also believe that nerves signal greatness and that means you'll be wonderful.

Nice! Will you be performing them anytime soon? I'm excited for Invitationals, but I think that might be outweighed by nerves. I feel like that's probably normal, though... right?

More than likely not. I don't think New Directions would ever want to go to the original song route, though it would certainly give a high advantage if they did. Are you excited for invitationals?

Congratulations on your new co-captain status! I'm excited to see what the Troubletones will bring to the table. Rachel and I are really proud of what we have going to help the New Directions prepare so I think you'll have some tough competition, but may the best team win.

Well, as the newly-instated co-captain of the Troubletones, I think we got this in the bag. Based on hotness alone, we smoke you all up, that goes without saying. But if you add talent and charisma and a setlist to die for? We're gonna be unbeatable.

Nice that you've been able to write some stuff! You should sing one of them in Glee! I'm sure it'd be awesome. And, yeah, I'm pretty excited. Nervous as hell, but excited.

Do I get to hear any of them? I'm definitely looking forward to invitationals. We've got an incredible setlist lined up. We'll easily make first place, there won't be any real competition there.

I have been way too distracted lately being holed up in my room with my notebook and guitar. But I have some great songs written. My mom says they're great anyway and that's really what matters. Is everyone else excited for invitationals? I know New Directions is absolutely ready to kick butt.

Change is always a great idea. If it's something that makes you happy, I say you should stick with it. Plus, you could probably pull off just about anything.

I've done it! I've officially given up dying my hair. Is it too late to welcome the "new hair, new me" movement again?? But for real, I know it's kinda been like it a while now but I was totally on the fence about whether or not to embrace it! What ya'll think?? Yay or nay??
